I'd expect against this sort of opponent we have to be better than this. Midfield was disjointed. We didn't really build through midfield really. Just relied on Trent's passing. That's why the 3 forwards didn't get many touches.

Has Darwin missed a sitter? Maybe TNT should mention it more.

They do pose a threat on the break and from set plays so we could do with another goal.

Everything was too slow. One-paced in that half. Thank God we finally made the breakthrough. Made up Gravenberch has his first goal. That Nunez miss was a shocker though. :o

Individually I thought the midfielders did well enough but the collective wasn't there, it did seem disjointed. It's still a new group really of midfielders.

The forward line as well, Jota's not involved enough and Mo kept quiet really. Nunez lively but he can't miss chances like that at 0-0.

Good start but we become really poor and turgid for about 15mins before we scored. Maybe it was a hangover from Sat after the initial adrenaline rush plus missing a couple of chances we would normally put away. Darwin can be infuriating at times.

Well done to Ryan, a few lovely touches and was in the right place to tuck the ball away.

Get an early goal and finish this quick.

Think Salah and especially Darwin should have made this more comfortable, don't have issues with the performance yet bar the misses.

Just need to up the tempo and get this boxed off in the first 15 mins. Make some subs.

Nothing too surprising there to me.  Don't think anyone was really bad, don't think anyone (except for Ryan G) was really good.  I don't think that performance against Brighton would be good enough, but this isn't our top XI, so no worries.

I do like how Quansah makes simple passes.  He puts some pace on them.  It's not that a slow pass would be intercepted, but those passes with pace get us into better positions more quickly.

To be fair they brought the game down to their pace. Hopefully we will quicken it up second half.

Gravenberch aside, pretty boring and there's no real tempo or urgency to our play but you know we can turn it on if we need to - you'd just maybe expect a bit more from those players who won't be starting on the weekend.

Quansah looked absolutely mustard in the first 20 minutes and then lost his way a little in terms of his passing, trying to force it. He's very exciting though. If we can train Gravenberch to be more consistenly involved then it's over for everyone else. Him and Dom in midfield could be unreal over the next few years.

Get Konate, Salah, Nunez off and wrap them up in cotton wool please.
