What’s so annoying is that palace haven’t deserved this. 

Unfortunately, I think they very much did deserve it. They caused us a lot of problems in the first half and defended very well throughout while we were wasting chance after chance. Far too casual again with under hit/over hit passes and players just going through the motions and expecting to win. That’s not how it works.

Yep. The big issue isn't missing chances. The big issue is goals conceded. You simply cannot go behind so often and expect to keep winning or concede 2 at OT and expect to win the game.

Unfortunately our consistent poor finishing has caught up with us in the last 2 games.
Salah is off the pace, his finishing and first touch today was appalling.
Nunez is entertaining, but he won't score the goals to win you a title. He's not the answer.

As for Jones,  he hasn't the quality to be anything other than a squad player to come on at 70 mins when we're 2 or 3 up, to give a first teamer a rest.

Did better this season than I thought we would back in August. But that doesn't excuse throwing a genuine title charge away so late on. So overall we did well, but disappointing how it's ultimately panning out.

Start of this season we had to rebuild the whole midfield, new manager may want to think about doing the same with the attack for next season.
