1-0; Toone goal for the Mancs on 3' - https://twitter.com/BBCMOTD/status/1736361064785142163 & https://twitter.com/BarclaysWSL/status/1736361346592018720

^ Looked offside. Lineswoman making up for it since - giving offsides that don't look close to being offside (though I may need to put my glasses on)

Mancs hit the bar on 27' - Turner with a powerful header from a Utd corner.

1-1; Koivisto goal on 33' (Turner own goal?) - https://twitter.com/BBCMOTD/status/1736369879593209878 ;D

^ not sure why the commentator was harping on that it was a handball by Koivisto, claiming it was 'an unfair goal', the ball clearly hit Turner on the head and went in.

Great save from Earps to keep it 1-1 on 38'. Thought we'd scored then - https://twitter.com/BarclaysWSL/status/1736370609750225340

We're getting down the right side a fair bit - Lawley playing really well :)

1-1; half-time.

Nice response, that. We've conceded early goals a couple of times this season and gone on to do alright after.

Lawley makes such a difference to us. I hope she can keep it up in the second half.

Holland with a good probing run - but her shot is blocked well on 61'. Maybe could have shot a little earlier? (captain hindsight!)

Bit of a scramble from the resulting corner - we nearly score again, but eventually cleared.

Hope Bonner is okay - massively brave defensive header, that. Full on collision. Eeek. She's sitting up now (few minutes later) :)

Leanne Kiernan replaces Bonner.

Not sure how she has walked off the pitch after that. Definitely made of some hard stuff, she is. She is well known for putting her head on the line, but that one was brutal even by her standards.

Will she go to hospital? "I would have thought so, yeah." #lfc

Matt Beard says Gemma Bonner "doesn't remember the incident" and he is unsure if she was unconscious at the time. He had not received any details before he came to speak to the media.

Amazing win after such a poor start. (Offside for there goal) Did seem the ref gave Utd everything they just flop on the floor and it was a foul.
Glad for Hinds I know she gets a lot of stick hopefully that will help her.
Wins at Utd and Arsenal this season shows great progress

When Rachel Williams came on I said to my son "oh no, they're bringing on the THUG!!!".

Unfortunately thuggery prevailed, not even sure she got any kind of card for that, the ball was a yard away by the time she head butted Bonner.

...thuggery!!! :(

I notice there were some training photos last week.

A few players missing (Kiernan, Van de Sanden, Fuka, etc...) but there aren't that many photos so its possible they were there but not in shot (or taking an extended break).

There are more photos available direct on getty (always is). Those you have noticed were absent really were absent. Along with a couple others. We were probably flexible with time off, given the month break in fixtures, and said everybody can have as much rest as they like but must be back by the first week of January at the latest. There is always a few who don't seem to leave the training ground at all.

It will be interesting to see how we go about gearing up again. I've used the month to take a break myself, so I'm a little more out of the loop than I usually am, but before I looked away I did see that either Arsenal or United (can't remember which) are heading off the Adidas HQ over in Germany for a training camp. That's not usually our way, we tend to stay at home. But we've been good with arranging friendlies since Beard came back in, so I expect one or two might be played in the coming week.

So with West Ham and Spurs splashing out on a couple of new players, is there anywhere in the Women's squad that we may need to improve?
