If your going to build a team around him. U need to play to his strenght. The main question is, what is his main quality to build around it

Well his best ability is his pace and his ability to stretch teams, so maybe players like Mac Allister and Trent in midfield who can get the ball to him with quality. Probably need another close to him either just behind or a strike partner. Probably need wingers to create the space for him as well and wingers who keep the width.

It’s the subjective nature of which fouls get called out and which don’t that pisses people off.

My issue is the replacement. We have a good collection of forwards outside Salah but no outstanding ones bar a injured Jota. If you are telling me we are replacing Salah with a top quality attacker ready to start for us the fine, but I am not in for the idea of getting some young player who one day develops into something good.

We have never had a situation under Klopp where we have sold our best player, there has always been another at the club who already took up the mantle or was there ready to. This will be different, there will not be a single attacker at the club as good as Salah when he leaves.

We don't have a single top attacker who is quick, can dribble and finish all in one. We're back where we were before we signed Mane. The new (old) recruitment team can do what they want, renewal is life.  :)

Its going to take one really brave manager to build a team around Nunez.

The point of spending big on any player is to get an instant impact.

We spent big on Virg & Alisson and the difference was clear from day one. This is a big money number 9 that is still a question mark going into his THIRD season.

It's mind-boggling considering the fact we've committed £85m to his transfer. You don't spend that kind of money on a project.

At least our season was already done anyway.

Imagine if winning today could have put it in our hands and that cost us. Said we'd get at least one more massive ref error to cost us a game. Thankfully we've already fucked the league ourselves over the last 5 games.

Wouldn’t be many big managers happy with that, explains why we have gone for a lottery winner.
I can only think of one 'big manager' and you are right, he'd want full control of the petty cash tin.  Maybe Edwards composed the job description to make sure he didn't get on the list.  Y'know, just in case he slipped through the vetting process - obsessed with LFC (tick), familiar with the area (tick), PL experience (tick), big (tick) etc.

Al, the first player we might buy of the Slot era could be from Feyenoord.  Just telling you now. ;D

We sold Suarez and replaced with Balotetti and Lambert. That was under Rogers and the season was a shit show

Give over Al. We took a calculated risk in signing him hoping he'd improve and he didn't. We have given him two seasons of support and he's no better now than day one.

Hes had a few flashes of brilliance but he doesn't deliver anywhere near as mud as we need if we want to be fighting for trophies.

He has failed. It is sad but it's a fact.

It’s not true at all he’s no better than day one though, not at all
