Could be fucking 5 up here. After that first 20 minutes or so where Roma controlled it we've been superb. Funnily enough since mane missed his first chance.

Be interesting wether Roma shut up shop or have a go second half. Either way we can grab an away goal against these too. We are inns great position. Just keep our cool.

We should easily be up 4-0 if not more. Lovren and Sadio both had clear cut chances that should have been converted. But i can't complain as we are dominating them now and Mo Salah is a fucking god not a king, jesus christ we only paid 35 million for him!!!!! He is worth 250m in this market!!!!

Also yes i agree Oxalde most likely did his ACL lets just hope its not a full tear....

Mane and Lovren could and probably should've scored, from 25 minutes we've been absolutely outstanding.

Important in the second half to keep them out and ideally grab a third. What a display.

After that nervy start, what resolve. We absolutely plundered them. Mane should have had a couple and Lovren could of easily scored his chance. Karius made the best of his gaff. But the man...the king....what can be said of him that hasn't been already.
More of the same next half you beauts in red. Let's not have them take any momentum back to the Olympico.

That was crazy, almost a sum up of how we play. We were slowed down, struggling to create when given the ball for long spells. They didn't hurt us much but they were physically proving hard to deal with. Then we start winning the ball higher up the pitch, playing balls in behind as Roma drifted higher up the pitch and hurting them with the pace, power and skill of our forward line.

Sure, Mane ought to have scored one of those. But we've got two. We are so, so hard to play against when we start counterpunching. Just hope Ox's injury proves not serious.

Quite a nervous start, where I thought Roma felt more dangerous. Then came Mane's miss and after that it was all about us. Salah with two top class finishes. Amazing end to the half where we created chance after chance after chance. As always we need to keep our focus in the second half, but let's hope Roma keep playing with a high defensive line.

Hope AOC's injury isn't too serious.

Bobby just terrorizes defenders. I'd say he's even worse to face than Suarez was at his peak. Absolute nightmare.

Gini has been very clever with his runs. I was afraid we would struggle with this midfield 3 but if anything, shortly after that change had we taken over tha game.

Wow.

What a half that was, more action than 5, 6 semi finals put together usually. Thought the first 30 minutes neither team took any risks, the nerves, took the measure of the opponent, Karius got lucky, it seemed Roma had something to work with, then they got lucky with the Mane misses. Once we had that belief though from the Mane chance, you could see the team push up a gear.

Salah you magnificent man.
