Yep, very happy to nab him. Never quite gets the credit he deserves, I find. Mostly due to how he departed us and then who followed him! He was our talisman in those early days though, never shied from the big occasion (scored in all the big finals) and gave his all for the shirt when he played for us. I think in the end it was his growing celebrity status that got in the way of his love from the Kop. It all became a bit George Best like, with him popping up on TV and becoming England's darling. And then him leaving for Hamburg, seemingly for the money, sealed it. Though my 'pa always thought he was more motivated by the new challenge. Who knows. Anyway, he was quality and I'm happy to have him my attack.

I was struggling a bit with my midfield picks, there isn’t much depth there as someone mentioned yesterday. I was hoping Guardiola aka the Bald Fraud would slip through to me, but with him gone I’m very happy to be able to reunite Baraja & Albelda. Those guys were born to play football together
