What utter bollocks. He's absolutely cunted that free kick, Karius didn't stand a chance. That goal was all on Can, he's had a bet on Spartak by the looks of things.
It's head height and about one and half meters to his left when it goes in, Bogdan would have saved that.

Can is off form isn't he. Either brilliant or useless. Shame I thought he got that out of his system.
Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker

Deffo a penalty on Salah, how the fuck the ref let that go i don't know. free kick should have been saved really, other than that we arnt playing bad at all, hopefully we can score an early goal second half to force them to come out a bit, we should have them second half.

Our Premier League goalkeeper made more saves than any other goalkeeper at the weekend.

But no, our Champions League one does not.

They've barely had any shots and it's only half time, Leicester had many more and that was a full game.

Our premier league keeper? You mean the one who every season he's been here has one of the lowest save percentages in the league?

now that is utter bollocks. He was slow to move his feet. If he has better footwork, he gets across and saves that

We'll win this easily in the end. People are way too negative in this thread, we've played pretty well with a few exceptions, and they are shit. We will score more.

Yes we should win this if we keep concentrating.

I would take Can off for Chamberlain before he is sent off. The city game showed us in no uncertain terms that this style and this team doesn't work with only 10 men.
Believe in yourselves and we can do this.

It was central, the wall was badly positioned, as was Karius.

Karius fucked up on the free kick IMO but we're doing well so far.

Few chances that we should have buried, few that we can chalk off to being unlucky but we can definately win this.

Need to be careful with Can, can see him getting sent off here.

Hi, my name is Mohamed Salah. I knew that was offside so I was kicking it back to you'lls.
Hi, my name is Loris Karius. Despite the ball being quite big, I just showed you how to jump through it with hands stretched out and not having it touch even one bit of my clothing. Had nothing else to do but play this silly game all half.

I think Jurgen is playing a risky game with using Karius in Europe. Would have been better off trying this with him in the cup games. This is the highest level of football and if he’s not good enough for the league why on earth is he playing in the champions league?

Can has been sloppy and his mistakes led to their goal. What a goal from Coutinho though. Think if we keep pushing forward and we should win this but the slack tackling at times worries me. We’ve seen that happening for years in the league and Klopp can’t seem to stop it.

Can see us toiling until the 80th minute and Sturridge will come on and win it.

He's just having one of those matches where the ball isn't sticking. I'd take him off if it continues as Sturridge will enjoy playing against this defence.

Shay Given said the same on EIR Sports, he simply should have saved it

That cross from Henderson to Firmino was sublime, Firmino unlucky to be unsighted due to the defender jumping

Karius I think just got caught cheating to the wrong side. A freekick from 25 yards, he should be central, because any decent player taking the kick will be able to put it over the wall.

Just another sign of inexperience. He needs more games, but hopefully he won't make any more mistakes that will cost us CL points.

Can, on the other hand, I just hate watching players who are just a bit light up top. It's so frustrating at times, more so than watching a good player struggle. Hard to cure stupidity.
