Quarter final of the EFL Cup at home to City tonight and they've rested half of their squad. Surely reaching a semi final and the chance at another piece of silverware should be more important to them than consolidating a top half PL finish?

Man City's starting XI isn't that strong to be fair, so they might have a chance still.

Playing less football there then at city

Maybe a case of an average player looking good in a city team but found out when playing with less talented players?

He's pretty tidy but doesn't really seem that bothered with being there

Like he didn't really wanna leave Man City, but people told him it'd be a good idea so he sort of went along with it and he's a bit regretful.

The first time i saw him play was the pre season game against us and he really impressed me

Looked good at city but i get what you both mean. Maybe the move disappointed him a bit given where he was and how well he was doing there but i suppose then that's added incentive to impress at Leicester

Suprised to see just how young he is as well

He will still get another chance in another PL team, i won’t be surprised if he is shipped this winter. But if he fucks that up too, he will go Berahino route.

By the way Slimani transfer hasn’t been success for them either i suppose?

None of the transfers after they won the league have been (well that summer anyway)

Slimani, Musa, Mendy, Kapustka, Benalouane, Zieler. All pretty bad.

Their results wouldnt suggested it although you'd expect them to be as its us they're playing. Was more alluding to the fact that Watford haven't won all month.

You watch Leicester now, and while they're a good team with two very dangerous attackers and some decent Premier League-level players, you really do realise what a miracle their title win was. 81 points and only 3 defeats (away to us and the double against Arsenal) is astonishing for a team like that. The stars aligned perfectly. They must be a bizarre club to support.

theyve got two very good attacking players (vardy, Mahrez), some good talents who could be very good (ndidi, gray, possibly that new lad) and mostly 7/10 solid but unspectacular PL players (albrighton, Fuchs, Simpson,Iborra, schmeichel), which is why they’ll be good in the league and an outside bet for the cups as a decent manager should be able to set them up well to be solid defensively and rely on the two good attackers

You could put a monkey in a room drawing on a tactics board and it would take about 30 seconds for it to come up with a better game plan than Everton's.
