In my opinion that was the funniest piece of comedy timing EVER.

I was actually thinking about this before I went to the gig yesterday.  Id love to have the balls to turn up in that jacket. I am seriously considering writing into my last wishes to ensure all funeral attendees wear a Black castrol GTX jacket. 

I bet its already been done although they do seem quite rare

It's incredible. You're not expecting it at all, and yet at the same time it's such a predictable Partridge thing to wear.

For me the two series of I'm Alan Partridge are the absolute peak of the character. Hopefully we see something along similar lines.

They're giving him a new series, you shits!  Chris Feather has finally come up trumps.

Shane Allen, Controller, BBC Comedy has confirmed that Alan Partridge will be back on both BBC One and BBC Two.
BBC Two will broadcast a 25th anniversary special before the end of the year - a 1x60 marking 25 years since his debut on BBC Radio back in 1992.

A BBC One series will then air next year.

Both are to be produced by Baby Cow Productions.

Shane Allen said: "Alan Partridge is in the top tier of comedy characters of all time, it fills my comedy heart with joy to welcome him back to BBC One and BBC Two."
