I can't stand what X Factor represents and I too have to watch it as my wife does, but yes, she's really rather special and if there is any justice in the world and certainly on fantastic singing talent, that girl should win the competition hands down.
To us, occasionally she has quite an Eartha Kitt vibrato and enunciation about her smoky singing voice, quite pronounced I thought on tonights song, though as my Wifey said, most of the people voting will have probably never heard of Eartha Kitt.
But I can think of no higher compliment than I'd buy an album of hers if she gets to make one, which she certainly should irrespective of if she wins.
I'm pretty sure Cowell will want her to, you could see the dollar signs in his eyes after her performance last week.
