I wouldn't be surprised if 50% of our passes were between our backline in front of our goal over these games. It's amazing we couldn't come up with a better plan after seeing their man-marking/pressing approach from the first game.

The team is on a bad run and looking jaded with so many players lacking energy. Hopefully, they can find the reset button and finish the season strongly.

We'd be praising a professional European away performance if that had been the first leg. As it was, it wasn't anywhere near good enough but the damage was done last week.

I came in with no expectations but it's still hard not to be disappointed with how little we offered tonight, especially in the second half. That wasn't failing in the most beautiful way, it was going out with a whimper.

What a second half that was. Proper edge of your seat stuff seeing Konate, van Dijk and Alisson hold onto the ball for a million years before twatting it up to absolutely no one. Really riveting football.

There was absolutely no belief at any time after Salah slotted in that penalty that we'd go on and turn this around. It's a shame the season's going to end the way it's going to end after so much promise just a few weeks ago but it is what it is. Just focus on sending Klopp off as best as we can as a club.
