Looking for some recommendations.

A place in town (not ticketed) that has either a normal toilet that on the same level as the bar or a disabled toilet

Two I know of are Head of Steam and Crafty Chandler, but just incase they are rammed before I get there, can anyone recommend any others?

As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.

The Fly In The Loaf on Hardman Street.  Regular toilets are upstairs but they have a disabled one on the ground floor.

No tickets or reservations required but will be full to the rafters way before kick off.

If I didn’t select anything at purchase, will the Anfield screening tickets be posted or collection?

I vaguely remember what happened in Istanbul, but I have no idea what I did after the game had finished. Woke up in my bed the next afternoon... ;)

Watched the Roma games in the Victoria Gate Casino in town. Plenty of reds. Slightly odd atmosphere what with it being a casino but two huge screens so it was good fun.

It was fucking class is what it was. Except them italians sat in front who got pissed off when I gave 'em a shake in the first leg :lmao

Had been looking into heading over to Liverpool for it but no room in the inns. Left it too late.

Anyone in Belfast recommend a bar that will be full of reds? I have too many bad memories of the last final, being surrounded by other supporter dickheads that I might just watch it at home.

With bank holiday you really needed to think of going to Liverpool from before the 1st leg of the semi final to get a room at a decent price that allows to cancel and be prepared to lose flight money what is what i did.

Found it cheaper to fly out of City of Derry airport on the Thursday and stay 2 nights in Liverpool than to fly out of Belfast on the Saturday morning

Also Taxi's are relatively cheap in Liverpool, often cheaper than getting the bus if there are more than two of you.

None of that extortionate Uber shite though give Alpha (0151 722 8888) or Delta (0151 922 7373) a ring.

Should get you from anywhere in town to Anfield for a tenner or less.

Cheers

Anyone who bought Anfield tickets last Thursday have you received them in the post yet?

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

I got mine in the first sale and received them already but when buying in other rounds for Roma and city I didn’t get them until the day before! So the ones bought in the second sale of this one maybe the same. So the bullet point of this presentation is don’t worry 😉 until Friday :)

Famous Three Kings in West Brompton is probably a good bet. Tends to be rammed with reds for matches.
Watched the EL final there in 2016 and there was a good atmosphere (until we lost...)

i live in manchester and would not recommend watching a liverpool match in manchester. its pretty vile 10 times out of 10.

I'm heading back to Manchester after the game. It looks like the last train from Lime Street is 22.30, which is fine if NO Extra time but if there is (and GULP, penalties) they would finish around 10pm ish.

Tight :)

Don't wanna worry you but if there's pens it probably won't be finished until 10.15-20pm at best. So I'd get a pub as back up near the station you can run to if there's extra time, then you'd be fine :)

Check if the trains are running because Northern are on strike. Might be an idea to look into the national express coach from Liverpool one, they usually have one quite late.

Most places will be rammed by then. Most are ticketed anyway, and the others you'd have to be in by about 3pm I'd think. I'd try to get tickets for somewhere if you get into town late. Failing that, just walk through town until you find somewhere...

FWIW mine showed up today. I bought as soon as the became available to those unsuccessful in the ballot (can't remember if that was last Thursday or Wednesday, but definitely before they went on general sale).

I was all set to watch it in the same pub as 2005 with the same mate but apparently he's got a family thing on (he's not a Red). So now I'll probably wander up the road and catch it at the local (where I also saw the Spartak 7-0 and Porto 5-0, not been back since).

Less exciting than most plans I know...

For anyone stuck in Manchester that night, I'm hiring a massive screen and a sound system 808 state would be proud of. Im setting it up in the Lowry. Round on me every time we score.
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.
