C.A.V Policia
« on: December 10, 2009, 02:10:40 pm »
Banner in 306 last night.

Does anybody know what it means etc? Went right over my head.

Also anybody know what the "sorry" banner in the Fiorentina end was about?

Saw the banner last night, no idea what it meant.

A quick google search shows that:
C.A.V. stands for collettivo autonomo viola
http://www.collettivo.it/

Im not sure if its there ultras or just a fans group. . .

Think their Ultras group is known for having close contacts with the police, grassing on people and making compromises with the plod to get what they want.

I saw that "Sorry" banner

Anyone know what it was about?

Could have been a few things - Sorry for knocking us out of the CL

Sorry you have two owners who continually rape your club.

Sorry that some of their fans use the deaths of 39 Juve fans to score cheap points.

Or most likely they have seen Voronin play & share our pain.

A basic translation is Viola independant collective and I presume the police reference is an authoritive statement.

Bit like the fashion police  ;)

EDIT: Are you sure it was Policia and not Polizia (Police) or Politica (Policy) as the former is not an italian word.

Direct quotations don't usually make great english but I assume that the polizia refers to them as the unofficial 'law' or 'authority'

But the banner was on the Kop? They made it so the Fiorentina fans would see it. Is being called the police a good or a bad thing for them?

before considering any twinning with Liverpool FC, you'd better think about making the first ever solidarity act to Juventus fans since 1985's tragedy.

24 years and we're still waiting ...
I don't understand..
Should we make a solidarity act to juventus fans about the facts of Heysel? What is the reason?

However, I really congratulate you for your thread (A thorny friendship).
Great sense of timing!
You got your objective with the cancellation of the mosaic.

To our Fiorentina and Juventus members above:

Please do not use RAWK to score points with each other. You are reminded that you are guests here and we welcome your presence, just as long as you do not engage in public "handbagging". Continuance of this will result in warnings and/or a RAWK Holiday and your posts deleted.

This isn't the right place for it.

Any issues between Liverpool FC and either of your teams, sure, let's engage in open but rational debate - in the correct place - I trust you'll take this in the spirit intended.

Don't know about ours, however i'd hope theirs was for being knobs in the city centre kicking off on elderly people. Wankers.

I'm not me, to come here and suggest how Liverpool fans should support their team.

As I mentioned before, I already wrote my opinion about Liverpool fans, the twinning between Fiorentina and Liverpool fans and the reason for it.

Whenever I read here about the twinning, some people has the good idea to throw shit on us, blaming us about Heysel.

I think to come here in respect to all of you... and I'm sure that it isn't easy to try to explain in a foreign language  :P

But, I repeat, I'm not me to write a wall of text throwing shit to anyone.

Simply I dislike to read lies about us.
