[17 May 2016]: I was in this pub in Malta last week, and while there wasn't football on at the time, there were big screens and there was Liverpool memorabilia everywhere, and was told by colleagues they show all Liverpool games. Was a really nice pub, friendly staff and they gave you LOADS of free food with your drinks. We were given free bruschetta, Garlic Bread, chicken wings, and something else I can't remember in a period of about 2 hours. Highly recommended. In the pictures on Tripadvisor, you can only see Arsenal and Man U scarfs, but while those are there, as well as other teams, it is dominated by Liverpool stuff.

[10 Dec 2009]: There is an Irish pub I saw a game in a few years ago by the Cais do Sodré which is the the train station for Cascais/Estoril. As you look towards the city with the station to your back, it is on the right over the road about 100m away. In Cascais, 30 mins by train, loads of pubs/bars show English games and have all the dodgy channels so should get it live.

[2006/7]: much better place than the grim flaherty's by the cathedral and still centrally located
Party Phil [2007/8]: Not actually seen an LFC game in here but watched the Manc derby in August. The pub is in a quiet street but pretty central and is easy to spot as it's big and red with orange trees outside. The atmosphere was a bit quiet, only a couple of mancs hanging around and a few Celtic fans watching their game made most of the noise, although to be fair it was a lunchtime ko. The shape and layout of the pub is not exactly conducive to making a great viewing experience and I think it would be really annoying to find a decent spec for a popular game. Despite all that, I did really like the pub and will be going back sometime.

I've searched for ages a pub here where I can find fellow reds to watch the games, and I usually end up going to a pub called Finnegan's in Plaza de la Reina. For the bigger games there might be more (although against Arsenal we were only three!) but normally we're just a few reds + some casual travellers at times. And it has actually happened a couple of times that they haven't put the game on the screens (as today for example!). Favours the Liverpoolgames and have a separate section for booking if you are a lot of people. Great atmosphere on the CL nights, unforgettable noise and taunting when we beat Inter at San Siro.
[4 Apr 2008]: Ended up in The Dubliner for the game and there were a few Irish Reds in there so we had little mini-crack-up when Nando slotted! Also the fella who worked there was a Scouser - been there since 1978. He talked us into entering the quiz in there for a laugh, just music/entertanment questions(nothing Swedish!) mainly. We only went and won the fucker, beating a table of 4 Mancs(all Utd fans) and winning about 40quid in the process - happy days! The Mancs - who called their team FC United - were like "Can't believe we lost to a pair of lippy Scousers..." To which I replied "You know us son - we always do well in Europe!" ha ha fuckin gerrin!
