He's travelled with his wife.

Could mean she's there to just support him on the trip etc. or they'll be watching the match from the stands.
Maybe so. considering this is the carling cup, I reckon he won't tog out.
But he will be in a better state of mind come the weekend.

Suarez will play.  Kenny played him at Brighton, so why do we think he won't play him in a QF against Chelsea??

I expect a very strong line up, as we've seen all the way through this comp.

I'd play

                   Reina

Johnson   Agger  Skrtel   Enrique

Kuyt     Lucas     Adam      Maxi

                Henderson

               Suarez

A midfield 5 that is flexible and can interchange positions.

Our seventh away tie in our last eight league cup matches. Shock.

If we do get through, I'd love Blackburn/Cardiff at Anfield in the semis. But beating United/City at Anfield under the lights after they held us to a draw would be too good to turn down.

Just wish we get a home draw if we get through this. No doubt in my mind we'd make it to Wembley then.

I'll have a go at this:

                        Reina

                Carra        Agger
Kelly                                         Enrique
              Spearing
                         Henderson
      Downing                      Maxi

               Bellamy
                           Carroll

I think Suarez, Lucas, Adam and Kuyt need a rest. I dont think Skrtel or Agger need a rest, but Carra has to play in this one so he can be on the bench for the next League game.

You look and you see that maybe we need another left back, because we need the pace and brute force of Enrique, so we will have to risk him.

Reckon thats what we'll see except maybe coates playing again same as last carling cup match.  Can also see suarez instead of Downing and Bellamy on the right

So just 1 change from last game we played, 2 days ago? When we have the option of bringing fresh legs in? No way, IMO. I dont think Agger will play. Neither will Adam. Suarez could play, but just to prevent injuries or him burning out by Feb, I think he will be rested and can be brought on at about 65 min mark if needed. That's three and then IMO Kelly and Carroll deserve a start (for different reasons) so I think these 5 changes will be minimum.

Probably the best thing about living in Asia, is that Liverpool matches generally get shown.

Same today, Arsenal Man City a less popular game.

However, it does not matter as not possible to wake up at 4 am to watch this game....

Not many people seem to rememember we had a tough game against city the other day??

I don't know where Bellamy's head is right now but I was really hoping to see him play this game. 90 minutes for Andy C and I would be happy too. Maxi and Jay both deserve a run out and I don't believe either would weaken the team??

Can't wait to see what team Kenny puts out anyway.
