Pretty similar game to the weekend really, the difference being one of our mid-to-long-range shots actually went in! West Ham look like a typical Moyes team at Anfield, offering absolutely nothing.

Hopefully being ahead will allow us to play with a bit more freedom going forward instead of trying to force it. Would love to see us cut them open a few times and get some of our forwards on the score sheet.

Fun performance that, excellent control of the game and the lead would have likely come much earlier if that linesman wasn't so bad.

Endo, Elliot, Quansah all excellent.. Jones though, exceptional, he makes us tick, so important to us playing well.

I can't tell if this is Moyesie dope-a-rope. It's certainly been extremely comfortable so far but presumably they will start to press us at some point.

Great hit by Szoboszlai. If not for that we are looking at another goal less first half. Something very odd about our inability lately to be composed in the final third.

Looked pretty but haven’t created too much although we’ve been solid.

Tsimikas having a bit of a stinker, always seems to be hitting the ball out of play.

Pretty much a repeat of the weekend. Not a clear cut chance and a lot of long range shots where one of them has actually went in. Gakpo and Nunez need to do a lot more going forward

Exactly the same as the Utd game. Most of our attacking play consists of shit shots from shit positions. No control or creativity in the final third. Great goal by Dom but seriously need to start creating some good chances.

Key takeaways: Elliott has been our best player and the team is better for having him in it. Best our midfield has looked in weeks. Szobo looks great not having to offer width all the time too. Christ, Nunez and Gakpo don't half need a goal.

I don't think it is, we've looked like opening them up quite a bit and we've moved the ball much quicker.

Playing pretty well, still just not quite falling for us but seem to be playing up the pitch better and quicker.

Not sure the linesman knows what offside is without VAR, think Nunez was onside and in twice there

Think we’ve played well, but they seemed half arsed. We’ve won every first second and third ball.

Need to get a second and get the game won, before they decide to turn up. Elliott, Jones. Virgil and Quansah all really good, but they all were

Moving it quicker but still out of ideas when we get to the box. Looks more like the old 433 with Gomez hardly ever coming inside.

Lovely goal but we need to move it better and stop shooting from distance.

What is really great is enjoying the speed of Joe as he motors around, so nice to see he still has that pace intact.

Much better than Sunday, some actual pace to our play and the sloppiness is missing.

West Ham have been pretty unadventurous though. Not to tempt fate but Quansah looks perfectly at home whenever he comes into the side.

To be fair west ham haven't sat 10 men on the 18 yard box like the weekend.
