Have we got an extra seven thousand in the ground or only seven thousand?

Really poor from the crowd if truth be told.

Flat atmosphere and flat play.

Move the ball quicker and move 10 yards up.

Dom has been sloppy, Darwin needs to learn to time his runs. So, so frustrating from him. Harvey and Cody on imo

It's not even his runs, he's just stood offside sometimes.

We're dominating them. They have been dreadful, but FFS we need to be making it more difficult for them and Onana in particular. Man Utd are only here to try to take a point.

Started well before getting worse with each passing minute. Need a much better second half if we're serious.

Tragic.
I’m bit sick of Nunez living in fucking offside and our entire team making it easy for shit opposition. Crowd was crap as well for 80% of that half.

This should come as no surprise to anyone who’s watched us since before the city game. We’ve barely created anything sustained of note for weeks. No ides why people thought this would be a romp.

Still time but I’m not sure what that was. So many players had such a desperately poor half. Klopp needs to light a fire under them.

They're a fucking rabble and it's really poor on our part that we didn't even look like a side capable of capitalizing for large parts of that half.

Frustrating watch. Atmosphere is dead but we’ve been so sloppy it’s hard to blame them. Don’t know what’s happened to our attack but they’ve been poor for weeks. Nunez constantly offside and getting cheap yellows, Szobo a different player since the last international break.

I’d be keen to take Nunez off to be honest. He’s been terrible that half.

Also, it’s criminal that we haven’t tested Onana much when he’s clearly shitting himself.

Can't keep allowing ourself to play at the level of our opponents, worst passing I've seen this year, woeful.
We've been like this for a while, and it's disappointing that we've not gotten better especially considering the occasion.
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

Under no pressure but we haven’t made the most of our possession. Too many poor balls from us. Szoboszlai needs to run at Amrabat as he has him beaten for speed and skill.

Our midfield passing has been poor so maybe bring on Jones and Elliott. We need to up the tempo and pass better.

Have let ourselves been dragged down to their level somewhat. Crowd have let the hype get to them too, expectation has quickly evaporated.

Endo, Gravy and Lucho have been good. The rest have been pants. A case of Gakpo coming on for Nunez who looks only interested in playing to the crowd

Operation Anfield Library inaction again. Fuck me we have thousands of self entitled season ticket holders. Play your part or give it back.

Terrible half of football. Results are ace but our form is worrying. We look devoid of creativity and when we do get in we look devoid of quality.

Why can Oliver not give a yellow for that foul by Mainoo in the 10th or 11th and get away with it? Endo's yellow was a total joke, too.

Embarrassing that we haven't scored. United are doing well to be fair though breaking up the rhythm by giving us loads of throw ins.  ;D

One sided. We own the game but have struggled to create good chances. The header from VVD that Onana saved is probably our best one so far. Suspect we need quick combinations to pass through them. May have to slow the game down to set it up. We'll see.

Imagine where we'd be if we played like the Liverpool circa 2018-20. And yet we're still at the top.

We need to be winning this as they're absolutely dreadful. That being said we haven't been very good ourselves and have been like that for a while. What gives?

Their only chance will come from a mistake by us.  They don't seem capable of creating anything on their own.

We need Bobby.  I don't remember anyone better at sliding in perfectly weighted through balls.

Reminds me of that Atletico Madrid CL match at Anfield from a few years ago.  Never seen a team so thoroughly dominate the play and have nothing to show for it.

How can we pass it so slowly and walk the ball up at a snail's pace and then on our first progressive pass, Nunez is offside?

I think we might be trouble as one jammy chance for them might be all they need.
