Terrible game. As I said pre-match, this fixture has a tendency to go against everyone’s predictions.

The annoying thing was we started well, they were shitting the bed then we just decided to not pass it to a team mate and then it went to the standard turgid slow shite.

They were always coming with a Burnley-esque spoil football approach and fair fcks to them theyve done it well.

We’re not in good form and theres only so many times I can hear Neville and Carragher talk about how every Liverpool fan thought we’d smash them today… which Carragher has fallen into thr trap of agreed with - the moron!

Woeful game! Sobo and Salah have been awful. No good attacking patterns and Nunez may as well not exist up there.

Hope for better in the second half

Why would we get rid of our best midfielder mid season??

Needs a big team talk from Klopp here. Too many players playing the occasion rather than the poor opponents.

Not seen Salah and Trent be this wasteful for a long time.

Gakpo and Elliott to come on after 60 mins.

We'll still win 2-0

Been absolutely dominant and then Mo and Szobo picking up the ball in good areas and following it up with a shit pass. Get those passes right and we win. Very frustrating so far and giving those fouls against Nunez and Endo was a joke, neither was a foul.

Nunez is rivalling Djibril Cisse for offside laziness.

Salah and Dom are killing us.

Mo passing back to their keeper when there are free men to pass to in the box is agonising.

Gary Neville's narrative this week is the Anfield crowd. Shouldn't be allowed to commentate on our games our Manc games.

Rotten half. Having no ambitions or expectations beyond a 0-0 or a lucky smash and grab suits United, but we’ve been largely awful. The front three being all woefully out of form doesn’t help, Diaz has probably been the best of them.

Someone needs to remind Nunez the offside rule is in effect, he’s so frequently offside. Not singling him out particularly as no one’s been great, but it gets frustrating. Szoboszlai had a poor half, as has our entire righthand side. Hopefully Klopp sorts it.

We have been the better team, but our quality on the ball is really poor. Szob seems completely out of it, he has been woeful with the ball and more a hindrance. Nunez is off it, he still offers some danger but his temparement might get him sent off. We dont look like scoring unless its a worldie from Trent og a set piece with Virg. Energy and press has been good though. Maybe Elliott and Gakpo for Szob and Nunez.

We have to improve a lot on that and its worrying that we are so sloppy. We seem to need Trent to make something happen. If we can get some cool and composure in the thirs half and in front of the goal we look like winning.

Come on Liverpool!!!! YNWA

Easy games like these seems like a problem for our current team. We need to play like we are behind to see the best of this team. Endo seems to be the only one that knows how to pass the ball today. Grav is having a good match too but can't seem to link with others around him.

Frustrating watch. Atmosphere is dead but we’ve been so sloppy it’s hard to blame them. Don’t know what’s happened to our attack but they’ve been poor for weeks. Nunez constantly offside and getting cheap yellows, Szobo a different player since the last international break.

I’d be keen to take Nunez off to be honest. He’s been terrible that half.

Also, it’s criminal that we haven’t tested Onana much when he’s clearly shitting himself.

Nunez has always been enigmatic but he was always a goal threat last season, he's not been for a while now. Said for weeks we need him to be coming good in these games to get the first goal, particularly without Jota, instead we're relying on worldies or set pieces to break teams down.

They were noisy at the beginning when the team were better and at least started with a bit of tempo. But the players need to give them something as well, and we've not done enough.

In a game against this lot, the team shouldn’t have to give anything at all for the crowds to get going. The ground should be fucking bouncing, it should be venomous. They’d absolutely shit themselves and crumble if so.

We've given them all the encouragement they need. Barely tested their goal despite being all over them. Not helped by Nunez constantly drifting offside and Salah/Dom messing up passes.

Why would we get rid of our best midfielder mid season??

I wouldn't class him as our best midfielder. He is now getting on a bit, doesn't seem to have the legs anymore. Yes his passing is great but we need someone with passing, legs and doesn't get injured so often

A guy who has the badges but doesn't understand football. Endo was perfectly entitled to clear the ball, Amrabat stoops down, which is dangerous play, Endo catches him midriff and he goes down holding his head. You wonder what refs study to get those nice big badges?
