Disjointed as expected.

Jones and Endo been pretty poor on the ball.

Not sure how they’ve got singled out, they’ve been all poor actually. Don’t think we’ve strung together a single spell of effective possession. But you really can’t expect too much with a disjointed team like this.

Kelleher though, he really needs to hit the gym to improve. He hasn’t looked like he’s improved at all physically the last two seasons.

Thank God Allison is back, Kelleher is pretty much a training cone at this point.

good experience for the young lads, whatever the outcome.

would throw Nunez on, as he needs goals to improve confidence..

I don't think he'd get any service at all. He might disrupt the defense, but it's probably not worth risking him on this crappy pitch.

Their first was well offside, oh well, no big deal

It doesn't matter tonight but that's twice we've been screwed after the farce in Toulose. Bad enough with the Manc dickheads in England.

Offsides are supposed to be objective and VAR continues to even get objective decisions wrong.

Miles off the pace. Players we have clearly just aren't up for this. Big question marks over the lot of them. I'm sure they're a bunch of very nice lads and doing their best, but the key stats speak for themselves. We just can't help but bring in substandard players as we try to compete on the cheap.

Need to sell a clutch of this lot in January and get ourselves in a couple of £80m quality players, definitely. Complete waste of a fixture so far.

Offsides are supposed to be objective and VAR continues to even get objective decisions wrong.

The referee is a typical European one too, he's blown for everything including the tiniest touches, really poor. The offside looked like one which would have been flagged in England.

Not a lot to say really. Very poor. Can't put too much blame on the young lads, but pretty disappointing from the senior lads (who are mostly quite young themselves but that isn't the point). Kelleher has been called both Keller and Kellergher by the commentry so far.

Very thin gruel ...and their first was fuckin way offside - but you come to expect that these days.......what's pissing me off the most is the difference in tone between the way these BT c*nts covered the Manc and Newcastle games - and this game tonight - absolute polar opposites

TNT hate us. If only they'd stop putting our league games on.

Need some of the (more) seniors to take responsibility and get a grip on the game, bring the youngsters in more.
We’ve not been great defensively at times but not a massive surprise given how many young players we have in.

Still possible for them to get a more positive result

The sort of game you find out about ‘promising’ youngsters.

Have to say I had very high hopes for Doak, and every time he’s been given a chance, he’s disappointed. Early days I know. Endo getting caught in possession (and Curtis for the offside goal) has been a feature; he doesn’t generally do well when pressed.

We look terribly exposed on the counter - a real lack of pace evident.

Only saw it once but Konate couldn't seem to decide whether to defend that first goal or not. No idea what's up with him but he's looked really off this last month or so.
He's playing like someone who doesn't want to get injured. Doesn't look up for it.

Jones’ form pretty much since the red card has been slightly concerning. He seems like the type to need a run of games to get into form and he just hasn’t had that unfortunately.

Yeah, I don't think Alisson will be sweating too much over his place in the first choice starting line up. I do wonder if Pitaluga will start getting a look in for the second string matches any time soon.

Anyway, performance to be expected but absolutely delighted for Jarell to get his first goal, and it was a pretty fucking decent one too. As for the second half, that lot will knacker themselves out soon enough and we can mop up with a change or two. Still, a bit of fun for a Thursday evening and a chance for the young lads to get a run out, nothing will be broken forever if we don't win this one.

I think it is slowness of thought that is the main concern. Seems to have no clue where anyone is around him.
