Genuinely shocked that they didn't disallow that goal. Not because it should have been but because the flimsiest of pretexts is usually all they need. It was a much needed breakthrough, we've only really carried a threat from corners in an otherwise lethargic performance so far. It was good to see Kelleher make a strong early save to spare Gomez's blushes, it would have made a tough job even harder if we'd been chasing the game.

Tonight's all about the result to be fair, there won't be many worse times than tonight to play Sheff Utd this season. A professional job is needed in the second half to see this one out.

Shocked they didn’t disallow our goal because whilst it probably should have stood, there is never usually a reason needed to punish us with the referees. That being said, I strongly believe that late take on Mac Allister was a red, it didn’t even seem to evoke any VAR check. It was reckless, needless and so late as to be perplexing.
