1st Time I am trying this lads to see what the intrest would be ,

I have been talking to an airline regarding flights to Bucharest

I have currently got a price of £148.06 return - leaving London 1st December and Returning 3rd December , They have asked me to send them an email regarding my request for a group booking as we will get a discount for +20 people...I have sent the email requesting price for 30 and also for 50 to see if the discount increases with the amount of poeple in the group....

So the question is how many people would be interested - needless to say whatever the discount is will be passed on to everyone...

Alls I ask is that you hold off on your internet enquires untill Monday as we all know the prices go up with every enquiry , this will give them a chance to come back to me with the discount rate which I can post on here.

I could be intrested mate, and i could get at leat 4 people aswell to come.. would need to sort match tickets out though.. sounds a great idea espicallys as thomas crooks are probs gona charge double that!! You looked at hotel prices aswell or?

already sorted ,unfortunately i paid through the nose on this one , but would have been interested to see what they wuold have come up with ,surely a nightmare to arrange with fans  that you dont know

try the cheap hungarian airlines mate, im sure i seen some cheap flights.

By the way flying to Madrid/Milan from the UK and from Madrid/Milan to Bucharest is cheap as - the trouble is just working round the flight times and making sure they connect

Sorry to hear that mate---as for the nightmare , I dont think it would be...I am not working at the moment so time is not an issue....I have friends that I travel with already so Its not as if iam starting from scratch....as for dealing with people that I dont know were all reds so if we can we can get thier cheaper buy clubbin together on a euro trip I dont think we will have an issue if we are commited to going on the dates given

You have said that 20+ passengers are required in order for a discount to be applied...The curent price quoted by you for x1 passenger is £148.06 return

Can you advise on cost of group booking for x30 passengers and x 50 passengers Ie , will we get a bigger discount for more passengers or does the discount rate stay the same once +20 passengers are booked

For 30 passengers
Fare GBP184.00
Tax  GBP31.40
AFI  GBP1.00
TOTAL GBP216.40 per person
For 50 passengers
Fare GBP193.00
Tax GBP31.40
AFI GBP1.00
TOTAL GBP225.40 per person
A deposit of 30% is due by 15 SEP to secure these seats.
 
The rates include one piece of checked baggage per person up to 32K for the return journey.
 
Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information or if you wish to confirm the bookings.

Can you please explain why the price has jumped from £148.06 for a single passenger quoted by Alina last week to £216.40 per passenger for a group booking of 30 passengers and indeed increases in price with the more passengers we book.

The pricing structure for the airline only permits a limited number of seats at any particular level.  As soon as these are sold the next fare level applies.  With groups, the fare level that applies is the one that has the applicable number of seats available.  Indeed the larger the group, the more expensive the fare will become.

I agree, they now if the seats are selling they are not as desperate to get rid of them. Although it doesn't give any advantage for people in big groups.
