I've no idea if they are or not, but we've never played Everton on the opening day in the league - https://www.11v11.com/teams/liverpool/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Everton/. We've played them in the Charity/Community Shield a couple of times.

Apparently so. Friday 8pm too. I’ve also heard we’ve got Southampton A, Arsenal H and Burnley A afterwards. First Derby is Dec 4th at Anfield. I’ll see how reliable this is in 25 mins!
