He'll be offside 3 times out of 10
Miscontrol it 3 times out of 10
Miss a sitter 2 times out of 10 (sometimes shooting off target)
Score 2 times out of 10.

Build around the above? Nope.

We have a genuine world class player who happens to be a local lad that we can build around.

Nothing to do with Nunez but who is that lad?

No need to look so deep I don’t think!
It’s assumed it’s to do with Salah being a brat when Klopp wanted to do his isual handshake/hug with the sub before they go on. that’s what the vid doing the round shows. He doesn’t want to do that, walks off, Klopp says something, he comes back and sort of fistbumps him, and walks off to the edge of the technical area again and then all the arm-flapping starts. Just very petulant, disrespectful and uncalled for from any player let alone one so experienced.

That just goes to show he's not playing injured. Ignoring the initial handshake comes from the frustration for being benched.

That frustration would not have been if he knew Klopp was managing his injury.

He was bitter at being benched for being in crap form.

It's just the continuation of an incredible pattern, 28 attempts on goal and our 2 scorers were a scruffy finish from a defender (who I thought was fantastic btw) and another goal that deflected off 3 defenders.

If Jota had played this run in then I think our fortunes would have been completely different, our finishing has been fucking woeful.  I'll excuse Diaz from that though, the man has given everything.

Btw how was paqueta's foul on Mac Allister at the very minimum not a yellow card, that was a fucking horrific refereeing performance from start to finish.

Played good enough to win and didnt. Klopp having insanely unlucky season leaving at Dortmund and terrible variance at the end of the Liverpool is crazy

It's the structure Klopp had at Dortmund.  It's the structure Alonso works under now.  I'm not sure Carlo even gets to pick the team in his current club.  Mourinho has just stated that all he wants to be is a head coach.  There are no managers out there, only coaches.  It's like buying a striker and playing them in midfield.  Ray Kennedy you say?  Oh alright I'll give you that one.

What does this mean in real terms?

Darwin this season is averaging 22 passes a game, completing 71%. He is playing 2.2 progressive passes per game and is at 0.23 xA.

Feyenoord's primary number 9 is averaging 15 passes a game with a 67% completion rate. He is playing 1.4 progressive passes per game and is at 0.13 xA.

I meant it in reply to running in behind and stretching teams. He wouldn't get the long balls over the top to chase that he gets now in Slots team. It's much more progressive and controlled up the pitch.

The only consolation for all of us distraught Reds is that unlike under previous managers before Jurgen (since 1990) when our season often ended in November, this year he took us close to the brink in the most unusual and bizarre circumstances I've ever known. And I'm glad for his sanity he's out of it.
The injuries is one thing, but the fucking officials is a different aspect of depressing bewilderment. The amount of unacceptable and unexplainable small and significant decisions that went against us would question why you allow yourself to consume, gorge and indeed self-harm to such an unfathomable extent.

Some heavy arguing going on between the team after conceding the goals. I’m sure it’ll come out in years to come what caused the past 6 weeks to turn into a clowns car.

It is a pretty normal occurrence when a great leader is leaving. Klopp demanded unity. With him leaving the things that pissed players off about  each other have probably come to the fore. We also lost a lot of leaders last summer in Milner, Henderson, Fabinho plus Firmino who often acted as the peacemaker.

Not sure if theres been any theories today on what happened but this was mine, klopp was trying to make 3 subs including Salah and Gomez, did Klopp try and get the 3 subs on at a break of play at 2-1 only for salah not to be ready and then west ham go on to equalise at 2-2 in a situation that Klopp thought Gomez would have defended better than the man he was subbing in Trent? Did Klopp go up to Salah then after the delay, pissed off and say something like "are you sure you're ready now?"

Just a theory, may be completely wrong.

No need to look so deep I don’t think!

Let's hope this set up works better than last time.
