As long as its some really good footballers. In my opinion we have lost our way with signings since and including the summer of 2022. Many of the players signed then and since have question marks over them bar Mac Allister.

Most of them are pre peak
They've also been a significant part of a >+1xg/90 team - 80+ point team

There's some buys we can be crticial of but we've done a pretty good job and there's every chance it'll look better as the seasons go by

So If I'm getting this right, as well as all the refs, now all the media are conspiring against us?

Yep.

Apart from the media who share our outrage over the incident. They don't count because it spoils the argument.

Mate, "debating" or "arguing" with you is a complete waste of time and I say that respectfully.

You can scroll a bit and see that Mo performed poorly in that game which backed up what I was saying.

No you said Klopp should drop Salah against United, I said Klopp would probably not drop a player who is statistically the most productive player to play against United in PL history, in a game against them. Why you bring up Fulham I don’t know, I never mentioned him being dropped or rested against Fulham in fact with our fixture build up its something I expected.

I think Al's point above about trust is the most pertinent point, can you trust him to score the goals going forward consistently? The stats say he gets into the positions and has been unlucky to underperform his xg by so much, the eye says he is pretty rash in his finishing and may not have the composure or coolness to turn those numbers into actual production

Big decisions need to be made on the forward line this summer as similar issues appear across all of them. Like much of the rest of the team, some consistency in selection could be an important fist step to building confidence in all areas of the pitch

Someone mentioned cricket yesterday Yorkie and I think they made a valid point. Every once in a while cricket always throws up something a bit ridiculous like a Mankad run out, that Bairstow stumping in the Ashes or someone handling the ball where you think it’s a bit soft or not quite right but generally the laws of the game are applied correctly and that person is still given out. Football refs just seem to do what they want and know they won’t be challenged on it.
and then theres golf
