Can definitely see us resting a few of the lads for this one.

Think we'll see:
Reina
Kelly     Carra    Agger     Enrique
Hendo  Spearing  Shelvey
Kuyt       Carroll       Maxi

Hopefully Sterling will be on the bench, maybe to come on in the last half hour or so.

I can see us having a terrible game here. Hopefully lesson's learned from earlier this season, but everyone's minds will be on Saturday. I know this game is pointless in comparison, but it's not a good thing going into a final with a loss earlier in the week. If the players can get the mentality that this game is an opportunity to prove themselves worthy of playing a part in the final, then maybe that's the way to go.

I can't see the players having anything else on their minds other than the Final. And can you blame them? Going above Everton would be nice, but top priority is obviously avoiding suspensions/injuries.

Consistency is the key.  It's Kennys job to get the players minds away from the final and onto Fulham.  they are owed a spanking after the away game.

I think we should just play the kids/squad players for this one - what's the point of risking anybody?  Maybe, play Carroll up front since he didn't play on Saturday.

None of them should.

It is pointless.

Need to start showing some consistency in our results and back to back wins would be a good starting point. Rest Suarez, Gerrard and Bellamy for the final and give Kuyt, Maxi and Carroll a run out.

Haha, thats the thing with being inconsistent!

Knowing us, it'll either be a poor result/performance against Fulham and a brilliant display v Chelsea
or a nice 2/3-0 win v Fulham and a stop-start showing in the final

But heres to 3 points and a trophy !! ;)

It would be daft to risk Luis. He is our most important player by a country mile and our best chance of a goal. He is obviously full of confidence now so what's the point.

The big advantage we have over Chelsea is that our schedule is much more forgiving and they need to produce a performance on the Wednesday. Hopefully Newcastle will give them a better game than QPR and they pick up a few niggles and have a really hard night.

That said I would like to take all 3 points from this one.

The only relevance this game has is in trying to finish above Everton and not risking our starting eleven
for the cup. I would expect to see something like:

                         Doni

Flanagan  Skrtel    Coates    Enrique

                Spearing  Shelvey
Downing                             Maxi
                Kuyt  Carroll

I think Kenny will probably start Carra and Agger for the cup, which is harsh on Skrtel
he has been my player of the season.
We don't have too many other options than Enrique at left back for this one.
It's a chance for these players to push for a start or bench in the cup final

Not a chance, imo. Skrtel is a mainstay. I can see Agger getting pushed out to the left for the final.

If a Carra starts against Fulham, the chances of Agger/Skrtel starting the final are significantly higher. We shall wait and see. One thing's for certain though. Coates deserves a start on Tuesday.

Rest Gerrard and Suarez, Bellamy by giving them an hour or the final 25. Another good result and performance wouldn't do our chances any harm.

We've an extra day, but then we have to travel.

Based on the class, Fulham is far lower than us...
But because we are Liverpool, sometimes its fucking depressing against these lower class jerks...
Not 0-1 again because its fucking depressing... Even to wait superhero like Son Goku in DragonBall
is already depressing enough to be in action for so slow.
Have to win this as a momentum for The Blues shits in FA Cup. Must win. A must win!!!

Only four games left :(

Ahh, but you know what that signals - the re-opening of the transfer forum!!!  ::)

As for this game, I think it's a potentially tricky one especially if we're not playing a full first team (which I agree would be silly just days before the cup final). Fulham aren't a bad side and were made to look very poor by the bitters on the weekend so you'd think they would be looking to make amends in this match. They have some very good and very dangerous attacking players. Also, I think it's unavoidable that we'll be playing a below strength side out of necessity and that will be another thing to spur Fulham on.

On the other hand... It's important to keep the momentum going from the Norwich win going into the cup final. The plastics had a huge win (with Torres seemingly hitting some form, too) so they'll be up for it. Quite a tough decision to be made with the team selection, I think! I still think our 'rotation' players could win though, and you can argue they'd have a point to prove - players like Kuyt wanting to give the manager a selection headache for the weekend, so that could work in our favour.

Flanno in midfield?  Surely Coady would be massively better in that
role. Fulham would have a field day with Flannagan.
