I thought them buying up Kathryn's domain name in various formats was brilliant ;D she looked mortified and taken down a peg while Mike was telling her.

An absolute rogue’s gallery of Dubya and araeholes on the interview panel. :D

Mike always does some digging, can’t get away with anything.
Good old Claude who starts off quite softly spoken and makes them think he’s going to be reasonable and then picks them apart.
The gobby woman who shouts at them and tells them they’re shite.
The other woman I think wasn’t quite as bad to be fair.

Great viewing but I sometimes picture myself sat in front of them and cringe at what shite I’d say that they’d rip to pieces. :D

I wouldn't invest in any of them this year out of those 4, absolute load of shite the lot of them - and not having to pick between someone selling pajamas for dogs or a fucking business which is 2 of them not 1.

Just don’t see him touching Harpreet’s business with a bargepole. Huge red flag over business ownership that will only end in a family feud and in court. I honestly think Kathryn could rock up next week with pyjamas made from rags by smackheads in exchange for heroin and still win.

Those interviews were fucking shite. That one woman just trying to get Stephanie to cry - why on earth bring up her Dad?! The woman who's botoxed to within an inch of her life just trying too hard to be a c*nt without actually saying anything of use. Claude trying too hard with the whole being scary thing. The only one of good value was Mike, but who was then knee deep up Alan Sugar's arse in the boardroom.

Did have a chuckle at all these capitalists trying to say buying her pyjamas from China was unethical (granted she shouldn't have used that word in her plan). The absolute audacity to be that hypocritical on screen is pretty impressive.

Anyway, I'm fully in love with Kathryn, I can no longer refute it.

Sugar at the end pointing out the main issues with each business and saying "it's difficult" summed it up. He should have just said "I'm keeping my money" and walked out.

Well I stand corrected after that final. I was certain the ownership issue with Harpreet’s business would have resulted in her not winning. He’s invested in a business that she only owns half of. Does that mean he still owns 50% and the other two have to dilute their shareholding?

I'm sure every winner in recent memory has just basically been food or clothing related.

It lost all remaining credibility that ridiculous year when they had joint winners.

Didn't even get mentioned in the final despite being a huge part of the previous episode.

Love how they change the editing in the final so that everyone suddenly seems credible/competent.

Absolutely mad isn't it.

They might as well have not had the interviews episodes since all the issues suddenly disappear for the final. Which in itself doesn't make much sense these days since they have to re-name their company, re-do their brand, use incompetent previous contestants and re-make something they've worked on for years in 2 days from scratch?

The new format still doesn't work since it's not for a job -- they really need to try and sort out those legal issues that happened for it to change and go back to it being trying for a job.

They were doing the taste test/customer feedback thing at my local shops. Could have had my big TV break shoving a big cake into my fat gob. Alas, it wasn’t to be.

Of the two that was the safer bet to invest in surely. The whole USP of the other one being they cater for dogs too felt ridiculous. Surely you’re minimising your potential buyers massively. And even then, who’s buying matching pyjamas for the family (apart from the annoying types who pose for a family Christmas card photo)?

I enjoyed how Katherine said jungle print was ‘on-trend’ because it was in a D&G fashion show last year, which means its effectively 2 years old.

As soon as she went through to the final it was pretty obvious that it wasn't going to be an issue....and pretty obvious that she'd be winning it. She was better than Kathryn I think but even then having an established, successful company already set up is obviously going to trump a start-up thats likely to haemorrhage money in the first year or two.

Said this to my partner. Making pyjamas for dogs is all well and good (albeit weird), but when you make it your USP, then your customer-base is going to become pretty much only people that want to buy pyjamas for their dogs. If you just want pyjamas for just humans, you aren't going to go to a company that seemingly specialises in including dog stuff.

I struggled with that as a concept, and then thought it would create stock issues with all the sizes of dogs, but I reckon her target market was all those people who have those little dogs as fashion accessories.

I don't think there's much in the idea, but when asked about how she'd spend the 250k I think that saying she'd spend it on influencers is what may have sunk it.

Gregory Ebbs, my man.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness, some could call a strength in my opinion, is sometimes being a little too unusual. Some people might think, ‘why did you go to Malta to fire cannons when you could be earning so much more in the City of London?’. But I would say, a willingness to try different things and not being afraid to be slightly different is one of my biggest strengths.

I’ve noticed in recent years that at the first sniff during a task that something might not have been the best idea, any team member who wasn’t in support starts to very publicly distance themselves from the idea. Clearly just thinking ahead to the boardroom rather than getting on with the task in front of them. Was good to see Sugar call that out last night and fire someone for it.

Didn't someone get fired first last year for that? Not sure if it was just the edit but seemed odd no one wanted to be PM first, seems like a sure fire way of getting at least a couple episodes in now
