Great memory Gedo. Sadly Bobby broke his ankle against Chelsea the following season and was never the same player

A gang of us used to sag school on a Monday sometimes and go up to Anfield
The cleaners used to have The Kop open and they'd let you in.

We'd go to our speck and stand by the barrier dayreaming about............well what do you think?

One day I walked up to the garage to see if we could blag a drink from little machine they had outside.
While we were at the machine , Ian Ross came over and asked if we had any change for the machine..........which we obviouls didn't.

He managed to get some as we stood there waiting for him to come back.
He bought some orange juice , took one sip and spat it out. He says......."Jeezus lads you could have told me it tasted worse than petrol". He gave me his plastic cup, then said" Here boys......you might need these" and gave us a fistful of change.

Always liked him before that but a big, big fan after.
I kept the plastic cup until it eventually crawled out of my room under it's own fungus filled volition.

Has anyone caught the show on LFCtv, it's been on a few times, With Matt Critchley, Ian Ayres and the clubs official photographer (Forgot his name).

Anyway, the blokes about to retire and the club have done the right thing IMO and have bought his back catalogue, thosands of photo's from the 60's to present day.
Obviously with access to the team and stadium(s) that free lance photographer's won't have got.

Apparently once the catalogue had been digitised, the club plan to but them on sale for anyone to browse and purchase at their leisure, the club also plan to exhibit some of the more interesting photo's in Liverpool, then the UK and around the world (Norway, America, South East Asia,etc)

It's a cracking programme BTW, people should try and catch it, the fella is clearly as passionate about photography as he is about LFC, when the whole project is announced officially, I think he and it deserve a thread in it's own right.

Truly outstanding and unique pieace of life's work.
