Has anyone caught the show on LFCtv, it's been on a few times, With Matt Critchley, Ian Ayres and the clubs official photographer (Forgot his name).
Anyway, the blokes about to retire and the club have done the right thing IMO and have bought his back catalogue, thosands of photo's from the 60's to present day.
Obviously with access to the team and stadium(s) that free lance photographer's won't have got.
Apparently once the catalogue had been digitised, the club plan to but them on sale for anyone to browse and purchase at their leisure, the club also plan to exhibit some of the more interesting photo's in Liverpool, then the UK and around the world (Norway, America, South East Asia, etc)
It's a cracking programme BTW, people should try and catch it, the fella is clearly as passionate about photography as he is about LFC, when the whole project is announced officially, I think he and it deserve a thread in it's own right.
Truly outstanding and unique pieace of life's work.
