Yeah think I'm going to risk it, it's got a bit boring now going south Manchester 😂

You could do M56/M60 clockwise to avoid the M62 and avoid South Manc  8)

Yeah that's another option mate.  Do I take the manc airport exit?

Go past that exit, get in lane 1 and then the M56 ends and its a 50 limit, you go over two big humps and then take the next exit, its signed for M60 - Liverpool/Bolton/Leeds. Then just stay on that past the Trafford Centre and over Barton - most of the traffic goes Anti Clockwise in rush hour

Need advice as I'm doing the dreaded trip to Yorkshire in the morning but first stop is Castleford.

Google maps is telling me M6-M62 but I absolutely hate that bit of motorway especially at 8.30/9am however my usual route of M56-M60-M67 last time was horrendous as I was queuing pretty much from the M63 Ellesmere Port junction to Bredbury so I'm conflicted.

How did it go?

When did 'Autumn wreaths' become a thing? Literally never noticed them before this year, and in our new estate it seems like 1 in every 3 houses have got one on the door... we also had an absolute ton of Halloween stuff go up around us and are expecting a blizzard of Christmas lights and decorations soon, maybe it's just that kind of area.

Sounds like you live in the heart of a pagan community and if you don’t get a wreath up yourself sharpish, you’ll be finding yourself on the top of a large pyre being sacrificed to the goats. Good luck.

Covid year I remember round ours everyones lights went up around the start of November and they stayed up well into January - I loved it as it brightened up a very dark winter, especially as Gtr Manchester was in its own mini lockdown

I wonder if there's stats on timings of decorations and feelings on the economy.

"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

When some entrepreneurs realised that they could make some money from selling these things!!  For the last few years someone at work has been making them as a side line, they also do xmas and spring wreaths as well ;D

I got my mate temporary car insurance to drive my car for a day, he lives in Luxembourg and I insured him using his Lux license

Stupid prick has got caught speeding and as the owner the police letter has come to me.

What will happen in respect to him having a foreign license?
Do the police usually ask for insurance details ?

Do we know who we've been assigned yet for the weekend?

The coote thread is still there but there's no news. There is a game thread for Southampton with the officials listed.

Still where though?

I've looked in the main board, news & current affairs and general sport and can't find it.

I don't read pre/post game threads so I'd prefer not to go hunting through pages of shite for a name thanks 👍

The Coote one is most of the way down the 1st page between the GAA thread and the Republic of Ireland thread - the VAR one is on page 2 and is locked.

I've opened the VAR thread, it was locked after Coote-gate due to multiple discussions going on.

The Coote thread can stay locked until there's specific news about Coote-c*nt.

The usual VAR disasters at the weekend can resume as such :)
