Rather surreal conversation with my Chief Exec just now, who commented on a John Cena hoody I was using as a coat as I came in.

Her sons are wrestling fans apparently, and she is quite in to the AEW WWE rivalry as a result. Says she would have some explaining to do if she'd said what Triple H had said about the ongoing investigation  said she would be packing her stuff if she'd said what Khan said as a joke. Fascinating stuff

Would never have pegged her for a fan in any way. Should keep me off the firing list for another day I guess.

She sounds like a very smart and competent business woman, and she is talking about HHH and Tony Khan who are both circus clowns in suits.

So yeah under normal business etiquette yeah that wouldn't fly. But it's wrestling baby!!!

It is why Nick Khan and Chris Legentil have managed to get so far so fast - they are real serious business people playing against clowns. It's like footballers going to the Saudi league or MLS - for big money and an easy time against some shite

Load of bollocks, this squad is well capable of top 4
Bollocks?

Our net spend last decade is on the level of fucking championship teams.

The only reason we were expecting Top 4 last decade because we had the biggest massive overachiever this game has ever seen.

To expect Top 4 with the money we spend reeks of arrogance and of complete lack of awareness.

If Slot is not a massive overachiever we're in trouble.

That's fair enough so you're not really expecting Top 4 then.

May I remind everyone we are spending next to peanuts for years now...expecting Top 4 is batshit crazy.

Our only chance is finding a massive overachiever and if Slot is that guy likelihood is he's gonna need some time.
I don't think it's batshit crazy. Which two teams below us would you automatically expect to finish above us? Spurs have a worse squad than us, Chelsea are in disarray, Villa are going to have a CL campaign to deal with, Newcastle need to sell to meet FFP regulations and Man United may well have their own new manager.

So you're now saying Taylor must be biased against Liverpool. But Attwell is biassed towards Liverpool?

Olise is too good to settle for being backup, the potential is their to be top draw. He has a good attitude as well, the fly in the ointment is the injury record however he is still only 22 so could grow out it.

Anyway hope Arsenal win the league now, definitely be worthy winners.

CL expands next season doesn’t it? You dont have to be a starter to start 20 games a season anymore. Hes versatile enough as well so wouldn’t just be Sakas back up. Palace will demand top dollar for him though.

Rubbish, look at the quality in the squad and hopefully a bit more is added, there's no way we should then be expecting to fall behind Villa, Utd, Chelsea or whatever shit teams you're thinking about.

RAWK exclusive. Transcript of the conversation:

Jurgen: Come on Mo we need you to score.
Mo: I should have started.
Jurgen: You needed a rest.
Mo: Then why put me on now.
Jurgen: Just go get a goal.
Mo: I'd have a hat trick by now.
Darwin steps in..
Jurgen: Well go get one now then.
Mo: Not much time left for that. I should have started.
Jurgen walks away...
Clearly false.

As Mo would be speaking in Arabic, and Jurgen in German.
With Darwin translating and adding in a few Spanish expletives for good measure.

Ref Watch - The Gakpo incident

Gakpo incident a mess that could have been avoided'
INCIDENT: Anthony Taylor prevents Cody Gakpo from scoring after Alphonse Areola put the pull down for a free-kick - despite the referee not awarding a foul.

DERMOT SAYS: "It's a mess that could have been avoided very easily.

"Areola grabs the ball - I think he collides with the post. Anthony Taylor, for whatever reason, signals advantage.

"But when he goes back upfield, Areola throws the ball the the ground. The referee sees it, blows up and decides the goalkeeper needs treatment.

"He's dug himself out well by seeing Gakpo's closing in and the player needs treatment, but one wonders if it had gone in the net...

"But he originally decided he didn't need treatment. That's where he makes the mistake - he turns his back on the ball. For that period, you're not in control of the situation."

The bit in bold....what does that mean exactly?

If thats the metric then what chance should anyone score from?

Other players have also missed massive chances.

The best finisher in the squad had an open goal and didn't score.
