If that's the case, I'm surprised he hasn't even put him on the bench, rather than having two keepers

If you look further up the page, you’ll see that was posted before the ear infection news came out

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

This is a wind up, right?

This is the kind of team we’d put out in an FA cup tie against championship opposition. So it should still be enough to beat Forest but it’s not going to be a walk in the park.

Oh fuck off is it.

I actually am excited to see Elliott and Jones linking up in midfield.

That Forest defence looks dreadful and the midfield not much better. I fancy Mo to get a couple.

Prediction 3-1!

Thiago is very good aerially, have you been watching him?

Right but it looks like we’ve asked him to head the ball more instead of chesting it, to avoid a chest infection, but it’s then caused an ear infection.

That's not too bad. With some antibiotics, he should be o.k for midweek. Hopefully, anyway. Shit luck though.

Ear infections are nasty and don't really react to antibiotics. They can wipe you out for a couple of weeks.

Injury situation obviously ridiculous this season but Nunez hopefully is caution and Diaz and Trent were victims of bad challenges at Arsenal. Jota probably not wise to play for 99 minutes of a high octane game still getting his fitness back, but that's a consequence of losing Diaz.

These will raise their game because it's us but we have more than enough to take a comfortable 3 points (provided logic prevails.. and we play more like first half v West Ham and not like second half..)

Injuries are telling at the moment. I think forest will be up for it because it's us but if everyone brings their A game we should have enough to do the job. Need some goals from Salah today.

Salah has a lot of fond memories of playing against Steve Cook and will presumably be down the middle here. Get him and Bobby linking up close together and the chances should come.

Just have to keep finding a way to get results now till the world cup break. I wouldn't take this game for granted anyway. They might be bottom but but we are still a good few players down and they'll be up for it.

Weird how they are the very thing GP's will generally prescribe you with then. And have done with me twice. First time it took about a week for it to clear up. Second time I was right after about 4 days.

I think we're hoping Jones and Elliott will provide the energy in there. Jones hasn't got 90 minutes in him now though so it'll be Henderson on after maybe an hour.

Very little scope for offensive changes.

Basically if we have a relatively injury-free season we challenge for the title.
