Undoubtedly the best television series ever made. You can easily watch it over and over and over again and it never gets boring. Fantastic show.

had it on DVD but managed to lose a couple of the DVDs  :butt. havnt brouhgt it again just incase they turned up. No joy yet.
Just seen its available on Blu-ray. Any1 got it on bluray is the quality better what about sound

Have recorded the two shown this week and will be watching over the weekend. hope it's as good as i've heard, not just from RAWKites but others as well

the last couple are a little slow

I remember watching the one at Bastogne in the winter on an off dayfrom work

you heard the sound of scrunching snow under their feet, then going out to the mail box and hearing the same sound and thinking I was glad to be going back to warm house and not a dangerous cold fox hole

It is an interesting structure, when what is usually the big finale of a programme is so low key. After the intensity of the previous episodes, I kept expecting some huge disaster to happen.
