I read recently that on Tinder 80% of the women go after 20% of the men.  So 1/5th of the guys on there are getting loads of options while everyone else has to feed off the scraps.  And those women complaining that they're getting played and that there are no good guys left don't realise that it's because the guys that they're matched with are also matched with 20 other women and naturally abuse that fact!

Sure there are chicks out there that are loyal, care about personality blah blah but the gen pop of BOTH men and women are fucked.

For women its too easy, they can go on tinder and get a date or shag in 5 minutes, for a guy if youre not stading out youre fucking TOAST.

Both myself and a girl at work became single over the summer. My team has had to support her office a lot since so we started talking more and ended up chatting online a lot. She started telling me about disastrous dates she'd been on, like with a holocaust denier etc. One weekend she said she had no plans, so I said if she wanted we could go for a drink but she pretty much laughed it off.

For a while now I've been using one of these apps and had 5 matches in total, and only got messages from 2 (and one of those no more than a 'hi'). There was a works outing Friday and this girl at work was proudly telling a mutual friend that she's using Tinder, Bumble etc and going on lots of dates right now and enjoying 'netflix and chill'.

So it does seem to me that there's a group of guys out there that these apps are working for more than others (or me at least).

Are there any stats on whether a paid service is more fruitful for men?

I’ve never used any of these apps but from the feedback reading this thread, the free services always weigh heavily in favour of women.

I use paid tinder, costs me  £2 a month. But you get to see who's already liked you (top left) if you can't be arsed for hours of swiping
