Want to go on a rant about our January window but what's done is done. Based on who is in the team is there any combination in midfield that would make any sense given the circumstances? I'd wager there isn't so yeah Milner/Fabinho seems ridiculous but every other combo would as well because we're clearly deficient in this area compared to our opponent. Jones/Fabinho/Elliott? Ox/Fabinho/Keita? Keita/Fabinho/Elliott? Does any of these sound much better?

Just get the ball into the mixer as quickly as possible and see what happens seems like the best we can come up with. Hoping for an attacking masterclass and I'll have a beer in my hand regardless so let's do this!

I see potential in Gakpo as an 8. Against Bournemouth, he added a bit of physicality and ball retention there. He can also progess it with his runs in between the lines.

Yeah, I mean I think if Henderson or Bajcetic were fit, they would be in the side. Would rather have Jota in there than Ox, Keita, or Arthur though.

Depending on how we set up, Gakpo and Salah will have a lot responsibility getting the ball up the pitch.

Don't think we'll do it but having Jota right and Salah in the middle with say Gakpo, allowing Trent to basically be a 3rd midfielder who doesn't need to be too high up might be an option with that line up
