Mine arrived today. Have done a couple of Mario Kart championships, a few laps in Fzero and a level or two of Donkey Kong.

Lots of little things I'd forgotten about but some parts immediately jump out from all the hours I put in originally.

Like the NES version the save game management is a bit of a faff but once in the games it's brilliant!

They got the same connector as the mini-NES?

If so you can get extension cables. I posted the link to where I got mine from in the mini-NES thread last year.

Gutted I missed out on this, but think more stock is being produced so will hopefully pick one up.

cute as hell this thing, though as a retro gaming console it does indeed do the business very well. nice skin layout from Nintendo.

wish they had added hq4x screen filters to the mix but scanlines look nice when sat a little further back.

8bitdo will be releasing a snesc wireless controller in December, think it may be worth an investment though the packaged controllers are really nice.
- all in my opinion of course -

How much is this and best place to buy it? Tried searching online but it's coming up with numerous different prices.

Dream on. Only available from scalpers. Should be £70 or £80 from anywhere legit. Keep an eye out for when additional shipments become available.

Come on then lads how do these play?

Emulators never seemed to cut it for me, felt like something was missing. Does this feel the real deal?

Try: https://www.stockinformer.co.uk/

Set up an account (takes a minute) and an alert on stock and you'll get an email if it comes in anywhere.

I got one yesterday when stock became available on Amazon France. Ordered straight away and it arrives on Thursday. I won't lie to you all, i'm giddy :wave

This is good news. Available for pre-order as well:

Got no sound on my upstairs tv. But when I played it downstairs last night, Street Fighter 2 felt the same as it did 25 years back on the SNES. Mine was delivered to the folks as I was in Newcastle on Sunday and they had a great time playing Mario Kart & F-Zero.

For me it’s been spot on so far. I’ve mostly played Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, F Zero and Star Fox so far and the look and feel of them all is great.

I found the NES to be fun but didn’t play all that much but, possibly as the SNES was my first ever console, I can see me putting some time in and actually completing some of the games.

Amazon France and Spain have been making stock available over the last few days, so keep an eye on those if you're looking.

Like I said earlier in the thread , www.stockinformer.co.uk will do the hard bit for you as well.

Got mine on Day 1 having had the foresight to pre-order this time and thus avoiding the 310 mile round trip I had to embark on to get an NES Classic.

Haven't touched my Switch since it came. Started playing FF and Earthbound, having not been remotely into RPGs as a kid and now salivating to play them (and obviously not being able to play Earthbound in PAL). The emulation is beautiful (and a significant improvement on the NES version)

Have you got/Can you get "Secret of Mana"?

Considered by many to be one of the finest RPGs of all time.

I've played and finished Secret of Mana previously (it is on the SNES Mini though). I agree with you - it's absolutely amazing.

It's already been hacked and we're just waiting for a stable version of the hack now and we'll have all the games we like on it :D

Love this! Managed to buy one in Doha... takes me back to my youth lol.
During the recording sessions in Los Angeles, Spector held Johnny at gunpoint, forcing him to repeatedly play a riff.
