Not really at all, Salah has literally created the most big chances in the league this season, I have doubts about reliable that stat is, but just from watching us I can see Salah creates far more for Nunez and everyone else than the inverse.

There's been a fair few chances Nunez has created for Salah that he hasn't taken in his time since Darwin first debuted.

Salah may have created more but its not like Nunez hasn't created chances for Salah that his missed either.

It's just all one way as would have been seen.

Was probably more last season than this season to be fair but there my point stands.

i'd like to see him played as a 10, or at least if he's going to continue as a winger he needs to play more as an inside forward (as he did before Nunez joined). we should've really been centering the team around him and his threat to goal, but we seemed to make all the adjustments for Nunez and Trent (to some degree).
Agree.

This is in the right direction. Bit surprised Newcastle did support it.
It’s a start I suppose. Although if you’re owned by despotic , murderous oil states, you shouldn’t be able to spend anything.

Top three. QF in CL. Get to a domestic cup final.
Just for comparison Pep was 3rd, CL last 16 and FA Cup semi final in his first season.  That summer they spent 170 odd million on the likes of Gundogan, Stones and Sane.

I don’t think it’s even debatable whether we suffer more at the hands of the corrupt officials than other clubs is it?

I feel you should take that question to a Nottingham Forest website or a Wolves one. Not that they're any more objective than we are of course.

I wonder if with a new coach we will see referees give us a fairer shake? I'd be curious to see what happens next season.

Does anyone know how animated Arne Slot is on the sidelines? Is he more diplomatic with officials, especially the 4th official?

Edwards is playing 4D chess

A week or so ago you were regaling us with tales of how bad referees used to be and how much better the current crop are.

Again, where's the contradiction?

Unless you are referring to the clause "and VAR has made them worse"? I mean of course "relatively worse". In other words VAR has given them more opportunities to show their ineptitude and given us - the supporters - more opportunities to see their failings. It has exposed them like never before.

But, sure, even Taylor is a better referee than Roger Kirkpatrick or the Geordie copper were.

Do yourselves a favor and don't read Dale Johnsons arse licking of the refs.

Made me throw up in my mouth this part

"The referee retains the right to manage the match in the spirit of the game, and he felt that if he'd failed to make the goalkeeper aware of the advantage"

Cool ,why did he wave physios on and tell a player to go to the floor when he is covering his own arse.
