We still can't put passes together and create chances in the final third. I think overall we have been fairly shit offensively, just that City have been utter total shit. Defensively we are pretty good and we are pressing well. Once we actually get the ball, very few know what to do with it. Bellamy not making enough impact. Andy Carroll is no Didier Drogba nor Fernando Torres of the old. He gets headers on target if you cross it early on to him, so far thats been once. All we seem to need is a striker who can hold it up pass it back and be on the move. That is, Fernando Torres of the old, I am afraid Andy Carroll is not that striker, so unless we dont change our system a little bit to suit him, we are not going to get much out of him.

We seem to have had a game plan to score and then not commit anyone forward. Results in Carroll to isolated and when we do break not enough options. That little dart forward from bellamy on about half an hour shows the difference between him and Downing, the latter either doesn't have the confidence/belief that he can beat a man or simply doesn't have the ability. Spearing going off made us regress even more, we should have been keep pressing up (see Bellamy's effort) but we've given them a bit of space and Nasri coming on has given then time to get a bit of confidence on the ball in midfield. Carroll's touch is bloody awful sometimes too.

Who said we have to go 'gung ho'? When a side is playing this shit then they should be put under pressure. We haven't done so since we took the lead, and City look worse than most sides I've seen this season. Games are there to be won, this one definitely is, so go out and try to win it.

Hes unfit to me and totally off the pace. Cant even hold the ball up or control the thing properly. Its just amazing to me

Problem is, we're much more likely to let in goals with the tactic of the 10 last minutes than the 35 first, as we've seen continually through the season.

They may have the best squad in the country but that doesn't mean we should show them so much respect. It was clear as day up to the goal that we were dominating and controlling the game, as soon as we score, we drop back. Why not stay up pressurising them and try get another few. Before the goal we nearly scored three times, only for great keeping from Hart, we haven't had any big chances since the goal, need to go out and play the whole second half like we played the start of the first. If we do, we'll win this comfortably, City aren't at the races at all, we should be taking advantage of it.
