Feyenoord got any players he might bring with him? The lad who scored the 2nd goal v Ajax in the 6-0 (who won the ball back for the first goal n all) looks a pain in the arse. Like Mane.

Never happening mate, 6 seasons, I don't deserve to suffer any more.

Kuyt in a rondo? There's spaniels and tennis balls on Formby beach with better close control in a tighter space.
Fortunately, the big man is managing a team in Belgian first division now :) He got them promoted.

I like the cut of his jib. Looking forward to see what he does with us.

Comolli was sacked before Kenny left. The fella Rodgers fell out with was Edwards.

Ah! Well, that's my faulty memory playing tricks on me. Sorry. Probably should have checked before making a bold statement like that. But the circumstances were similar even if it wasn't the same people - the clash between manager and senior people at the club.

(It was Comolli who Jol fell out with at Spurs, wasn't it? Something to do with wanting to sell Berbatov as I recall.)

Anyway, it's clear that we need Slot and Hughes to work harmoniously for the benefit of the club as a whole if we want to enjoy continued success.

Some people have speculated about Slot wanting to bring in his own players and are being Cassandra-ish about the relationship before it has even started. But that's all it is, pessimistic speculation. I'd rather wait and see than prejudge it.

Yeah but come on, if you know your mate is shit and your asset is going to turn to shit, then your hardly going to be thrilled about it. Edwards carefully crafted his rep through success. If Liverpool turns to shit, his rep will get tainted.

That isn't really how nepotism and cronyism work though. People aren't usually that good at judging those close to them. People like to work with people who they are familiar with and who they trust implicitly.

We have been ravaged by injuries all season but chopping and changing centre halves and midfielders hasn't helped.
The Endo, MacAlister partnership was working and then dropped, Konate in out shake it all about hasn't worked and Jones getting taken off in every game including half time is messing us about .
We haven't had a settled team all season, it's quite amazing we are in 3rd place.
All those missed goals have done for us, Jurgen will be sick now leaving this way ..

HE FUCKING DID IT!!!

Fair play. I remember Triple H not selling an arm injury Lesnar gave him and it annoyed me.

- Feyenoord have won possession in the final third more than any team in Europe's top five leagues, with Liverpool in second.

- The average distance (metres) from their own goal when winning possession in open play: Feyenoord 45.2m, Liverpool 44.6m.

- High turnovers: Liverpool 353, Feyenoord 344.

- Average possession in the league: Feyenoord 62 per cent, Liverpool 61 per cent.

The style of play is almost identical. Slight difference in playing structure and a few varying training methods and drills - all very much negotiable. It's off the pitch where the reckoning will come with next level scrutiny and pressure.

Damn!

I'm about to be made redundant.  Should get a good package but worried about what comes next.  It's a good thing there aren't too many people out there with my knowledge and experience. Hopefully that helps in being able to pick and choose the most appropriate (best paid) role for me.
