Undone all your early promise in a shameless pursuit of votes.  So sad.

Another query.

Can two picks be made from the same team where there might be some overlap with one of the players e.g. Beckham-Neville and Evra-Ronaldo.
Like Ronaldo and Evra arrived after Beckham left but Neville was still playing, will these picks be OK?

Definitely think doubling up on the number of Mancs you have is a great way to go.

Evra and Neville would be a great picks IMO. No way those would backfire.

I'm happy for you to go with Evra and Neville, different eras for me.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Sir Giggs has already been picked mate.

May I suggest Jasper Blomqvist or Quinton Fortune?

We'll pencil in Blomqvist, just in case anyone wants to steal Beckham in the meantime. I see him being a massively popular pick ;)

I don't think any of these wide players picked together were a partnership so I'd just pick them.

Struggling to see how wingers are a partnership at all to be honest. I can see how Robben and Ribery are associated with each other. But I bet they don't pass to each other 5 times a game.

That's why I called it a Partnerships and Duos draft.

If more people had brought this up earlier we could've chaged it though.

Duos are nothing but a label. Not as much substance. Draft would have been more challenging for people if it was just a straight 'partnership' draft. Should have been a set minimum of games played together aswell to solidify what could be classed as a partnership

But yeah, shoulda been brought up earlier

Sometimes partnerships click without having played many games together.  I mean international partnerships would never get enough time together but some of them are remembered more fondly.

Yeah, it's why i only picked one international partnership. But we could have done a stipulation for international partnerships instead with a smaller number. Or maybe a set number of tournaments or tournament wins

It was a silly argument in the first place to be honest.

Yeah that's the annoying thing about all these wide players and full backs being picked together.

It has made lots of genuine partnerships which could have been picked like the one you mention being unable to happen.

Interesting question. They all played together for Germany as well, which gives a full backline partnership! Not sure if this should be allowed. What do people think?

I was considering Zambrotta & Nedved, but wasn't sure if they were actually a combination down the left.

I didn't do too much research into it and I can't remember.  But I saw Nedved played a lot in a CM three for Juve.  Zambrotta was at right back.

Were they a combo?  This is just for my knowledge, not snuffing them as being picked together.  Genuinely interested to know.
