I live 5 mins away from the training ground. About 6:15 before Brendan's Porsche was at the junction by the Standard boozer and I was heading up Town Row, couldn't resist flashing my lights and letting him out. Gave him a thumbs up and he flashed his hazards and give him a thumbs up back. Fucking top car!

Only relevant now but I was flying to Frankfurt for work from Manchester Airport and bumped into Balotelli flying back to Italy when he had got a suspension while playing for City.

Got to say he's a big old unit too!

Quite a few young footballers have lived in those apartments. Makes me wonder if Liverpool own a few and rent them out to the lads

Yes I done some work there last year for David Gest . Assaidi lived there as did yetsil and one of the coaching staff . Rodgers was around that way last week so possibly might be Colin pascoe . Also when that Liverpool documentary was aired borini was on it unpacking at one of them flats . Think the club let a few out there
