Only saw first 20 minutes but was really impressive, getting on the ball, driving at Bate, making things happen with good passing. By all accounts continued to play well till he tired

If he can get fit enough to last 90 minutes and stay fit, there will be opportunities and he looks up for the challenge.

Slowly but surely creeping back up the table after a more favorable fixture list . Wouldn't say we are playing great mind you. Better tests will be in the next couple of games, away at Watford & Everton.

Away at Everton is one of the easiest fixtures of the league season. Playing against a Championship standard side like that is an easy three points for the majority of the teams in this league.

Slowly but surely creeping back up the table after a more favorable fixture list . Wouldn't say we are playing great mind you. Better tests will be in the next couple of games, away at Watford & Everton.

All it needed was Ozil and Welbeck missing, far less flambouyant, far more effective, id take a solid 2-0 every week. Sanchez and Lacazette working well together upfront, after waiting 6 weeks to see them on the pitch together, theyre developing a good partnership.

Also helps to play once a week, EL is easier than the reserve league so far so our second team is taking care of it.

I'd normally agree with you, but we have struggled there in the past no matter how both teams are playing, and i wouldn't say in over confident in this Arsenal team yet either.

Yeah, all i was hoping for from the Europa League group stage is that we won our home games. Do that & that alone should see you through, allowing you to rest a number of players for the away games. The Bate result just makes it even better.

Can't complain about events and form since our last international break. Obviously things to work on like Xhaka's struggles or a tendency for first half sloppiness that we need to cut out before we go against big teams but we are still in league cup, so far managed to juggle our Europa games well, doing well in Europa, clambered up the league, Chelsea draw was a symbol of hope for us, a lot of players playing well with balance now in team and some squad players putting pressure on those above them.

Really can't be overstated the class of a guy like Cech. Still a quality player and will always be a quality man, nothing but respect for him, despite the fact he has played for two of our worst rivals

Spurs don't have anyone out long term do they, and none of their stars last time I looked, unless someone got injured today!

We do, Rose and Wanyama out (though I think both are close to being back) but we have thankfully coped well with them so not as noticeable.

Extremely fortunate last night. Could well have been down to 10 men, Norwich missed a couple of decent chances, & could have conceded a late penalty.

Through to the next round anyway to round of a decent response after the shocker of Watford. Don't think we can navigate the next round playing the defence that we have in the cup games so far. We are playing a back 5 of which only 1 or 2 are natural defenders. Will get found out in the end.

After the minority shareholders twice refused to vote in Sir Keswick and young Kroenke into continuing their posts despite being told such protests were useless.

The media might want to focus on a long campaigner for diversity in Arsenal board being brushed off and not given a proper answer despite the other shareholders protesting at sir Keswick brush off. Our white, male, nepotist board who have kept telling her they will look at the issue yet nothing changes...
