He will not be wanted by those clubs by that age.

How old was Lewandoski when he moved to Barca?

Really good article in the Athletic from Adam Crafton, who spend a day meeting Slot and others at Feyenoord last summer. Tons of insight into Slot's managerial approach, how he works with the recruitment team etc.

Interestingly, says he tried and failed to bring a former assistant - Marino Pusic - with him to Anfield. That's because he joined Shakhtar as head coach in October and wants to stay there.

Incredibly in-depth piece that shows why he was so high up  in Edwards and Hughes' thinking. A lot of parallels with how we already operate. I'd like to think the buy-in for his approach is a lot easier at an elite PL club rather than teams like Leeds and Crystal Palace that he turned down

No, but lets be honest, he will be 6 months off being under serious pressure. Thats the job.
That's fair enough so you're not really expecting Top 4 then.

May I remind everyone we are spending next to peanuts for years now...expecting Top 4 is batshit crazy.

Our only chance is finding a massive overachiever and if Slot is that guy likelihood is he's gonna need some time.

Run contract down and then off to Barca or PSG I reckon.

So weird we’re not forcing him out the club for losing his rag once

Me and the missus went to the Abba Voyage thing after the West Ham game on Saturday.  Was pretty good fun to be fair, amazing how it's done.  You'll enjoy it Rob. Plenty of middle-aged pissed-up women. :)

Parked and stayed in a Premier Inn at Buckhurst Hill near Epping for a bargain £40.  Just a few stops away from Stratford on the Central Line.

Worked brilliantly.  Jumped on the DLR from Stratford to Pudding Mill Lane.  The Abba arena is literally right outside PML station.

Sound mate. Its all for the missus, I'm just looking forward to getting away for a night

I just need to work out how to get over there from where we will be. We're getting the train to Euston, so we'll drop our stuff off and head out, not sure where as I don't really know London, probably around the Covent Garden or St Pauls Cathedral areas or such. Not even sure what Tube to get or the best way of paying for it. I'll ask in the London thread this week.

We're at the Bellos, nice small place.

About a mile or so from us Rob.  We are the Star Beach Hotel and Waterpark.

That chance was rated at 0.4xG. So a forward is on average likely to miss it 1.5 times more often than score it. That is why saying he has to score it is nonsense.

If thats the metric then what chance should anyone score from?

Salah expected to stay next season, says Ornstein.

Run contract down and then off to Barca or PSG I reckon.

I think the fact that this seems to have been brushed under the carpet suggests otherwise. They need to explain what the fuck happened.

Oh right, I thought Andy meant in this thread, but he may well have meant the wider world (more important than RAWK, some might say). As you were.
