Like others this will be my 3rd time going to Napoli. I do not think there should be any collection for this game. The city is dangerous and the option of collecting from the ground maybe is a better idea if it wasn't for the bus journey which is a nightmare and the lateness they arrive at the ground.  I know credits are the issue with this but fans safety is more important.  See you in Naples

Agreed the city is dangerous. But where the buses were last season to take you to the ground was as safe an area as anywhere else could be.

Lots of police and some LFC reps. If they're going to do any type of collection, which I'm not convinced they will do, that'd be the best choice

That’s not seen as a good idea as taxis drop you in the middle of the ultras and highlight you are an away fan.

Didn't say I agree with doing it, just said that, that area was the safest area if they do. Very dangerous wandering round Naples to look for a random hotel. Think it would be far more dangerous getting to that ground under you're own steam, but each to their own

If you don't get the bus then you'd have to make your way to where the buses leave from. Personally don't think they'll do any type of collection, but could be wrong.

I was just offering it up as the safest place, but because of the dangers think it won't be a collect in any way and about 500 in our end max

But some people will. There were people doing it last year and just strolling through the cordon without any hassle. Spoke to a few of them and said it was fine. They didn't have to get the bus that sent you for 3 hours round the ring road.

Yeah. It went a round-about way so I think any potential issues were probably mitigated by it taking forever to get back.

Going on last year the details were out 2 weeks before the game with the first sale starting 2 days later. Should definitely have something by tomorrow afternoon. Can't see us take an allocation of 2600 this time all the same. Going to be seriously time consuming writing out names on that many tickets.

Everyone would go if their fans weren't nuts and we would fill the whole allocation. Ok nothing happened last year as by sounds of it, it was well policed but in 2010 there was chaos, people getting chased, beaten and stabbed. Collection for this is not on imo especially when in the travel advice the club use statements like 'do not go to the ground on your own due to threat to your personal safety'

Controversial perhaps but why not just say this game won’t count for credits?

Regulars can still go, newbies get chance if they want to but if you decide not to for risk reasons you don’t fall off the ladder.

Not a bad idea to be honest, the next allocations will be so small this game won’t matter until knockouts credit wise

The only problem I can see with that idea is that if the club take an allocation of 2600 or thereabouts and only sell say 1000 for arguments sake they won't want to take the hit on the 1600 unsold tickets. I'm probably being generous with my estimate that 1000 are going to travel.
Give it a credit and it will be a sell out.

There's no way they'll do full collection, as although they know full well 2700 won't travel, they'd have to prepare for 2700 to travel, and take the number of staff to deal with 2700 fans turning up to collect tickets
