That's literal. Here, let me have a go. At the risk of killing the goose to find out how it laid the golden egg...

An' Mr Roma Relish,

Raul Meireles

who inexplicable glue sparse pelted AIDS ravaged stoat on bonce,

who has recently  and inexplicably glued what looks like an AIDS affected stoat on his head

like sickly Travis Biggles.

like Travis Bickle (the lead in Taxi Driver, who also got himself mohicaned up)

His alms greener than ink critter boo Hulk,

Whose arms are very green because of all the tattoos thereby making him look like the Incredible Hulk (ink critter boo hulk, but also a play on ink as in tattoos)

he SMASH from lethal bench.

He came off the bench. Not sure why it's lethal.

In dated gag, his combine with electrifiyin' Mr Loose Wires was slicker than Florida coast

In a dated joke, his link up with Luis Suarez (Loose Wires - hence electrifying) was slicker than the not so recently oiled up Florida coastline.

I might have missed a few there.

I fear I may have broken my mind somewhere along the way, because I comprehend everything Sabu writes with increasing ease now. Antique Arrow is absolute perfection for a supposedly 'throwback' target man.

The person who writes all this may well be perfectly sane and well-adjusted, but I reckon they defo have some awesome savant thought processes. A sort of pop-cultural synaesthesia. :D

Whatchu talkin bout "Errr"?? Seems to me a fair bit of imagination is put into the names, including but not limited to how similar it may sound to the original. There's more to poetry than rhyming, mate.

The great thing is you have to work hard at the names sometimes. And if it allows a chance for a critique of that player (whether wanted or not), that's where it goes. As in Antique Arrow. The ironic thing about it all is that he makes sense, once you work your way thru it. Piece of piss after reading Finnegans Wake tho (well, OK, the first 100 odd pages). Burroughs' cut up and paste, modified, played with and delivered all too rarely. Arrow will warm our bosoms tho.
