Fucking hell, most of RAWK will be on suicide watch after this news.

Why ? It is a great move for both the player and LFC ...

If we lost our last game, I'd be against it, but I am all right with it since we are fighting for 5th or higher. Playing a hopeless 29 year old like Joe Cole in meaningless games that will decide a pointless 6th or 7th could be frustrating at the end of this season, if it happens. In that scenario, I'd rather see if people like Pacheco and Suarez and Carroll could develop some synergy. These are definite emotion and energy charged games he will be getting into, though. No "what-ifs" about it.

Thank God.

IMO, this means he is still in our plans and they feel he needs a little experience before playing for us next seaosn. Others will see it different I imagine.

Why norwich? What use is that? Why not Real Madrid?

In fact, why is he on loan. He is much better than Dirk Kuyt, as geniuses on here point out. I'd have him in our first team at centre back. He could replace carra. I bet carra has stopped it though. The c*nt! Is there no limit to carragher's evil plotting? Thank you. I am from Denmark

Does anyone know an LFC player who went on loan and came back a player worthy of the 1st team? I cant think of many. Spearing was loaned to Leicester and came back..after that, er...certainly Gerrard or Carra never were.

If he is to be good enough to play next year surely he would have received more of a run out this year. He's not in the team for a reason and setting the reserves on fire means nothing.

Litmus test for him to see if he can handle the physical side of the game imo.

Really hope he lights the league up because he has the ability to do just that.

This is it Dani lad, fill yer boots.

From here on in its all FSG's doing. Good or bad they will stand or fall by the decisions they have made in the summer of 2012. Lets hope they have gotten it right.

i see this as a good move for him myself. if he goes there and impresses it will most likely mean he will be given another chance here and get first team opportunities. however if he goes there and does poor then sadly he will most likely be moved on. thats how football goes. he needs to take this chance to show his worth

Good news, we'll see what he is made of when he gets a run of games now. And if he doesn't break the first team at Norwich then I guess we know what we have to do in the summer... As much as I like him.

I think he'll be a success though, hopefully crack a few goals in and get them promoted (as long as they don't try and sign him next season!!)

Indeed, but there weren't many more and Rafa was on record as wanting a Spanish style B team system which rather smacked of him not wanting to let his fledglings out of his sight.

True, think he was more of the opinion that they'd learn more at Melwood. Certainly Kelly and Spearing only went out on loan when they were on the verge of the 1st team, they could've gone much earlier.

Norwich is my local club so I can try to keep you all updated on how he's doing. It'll be intresting to see how he fits in, or even if he'll get to play in his prefered AMC position. Norwich have Hoolahan and Lansbury who play there.. neither of whom will be easy to displace. Overall I'd say it's a good move for him though, norwich play some really attractive football and like to keep it on the floor as much as possible so it should suit him. Norwich also don't really have a set-piece specialist (Chris Martin is injured, he often takes them) so I expect he'll take over that duty aswell.

Im sure people will be quick to jump on him if he doesnt immediately displace those in the 1st team. Gotta remember that Norwich are on a good run of form and they're unlikely to want to upset the apple cart by chopping and changing the 1st team. A few minutes off the bench is what we should be expecting, if he does well then maybe he might be included a bit more, here's hoping.

Im of two thoughts, either he's requested to go on loan, or the club is putting him in the shop window.

I reckon this is make or break time for him here. He keeps being made out to be some great white hope, but as yet nowhere near the first team even though practically most players have had some game time under kenny.

Im stoked...for norwich. Like the team and the colors (just like my high school and university of oregon!)
i thought most kids hated being loaned out after arriving at club of choice (hopefully this is LFC) and hope he doms the championship and proves that he belongs in the hole behind the striker.
