Ok That’s you

Some other people are like different and stuff

Well yeah but if you know there is a slight delay in a stream why would you not shut yourself off from phones etc? You still enjoy the game the same

McCoist sounds genuinely enthused, in stark contrast to some of the fuckers that sound like they've walked in on the postman shagging their wife ffs

Yeah I thought he was very good and his coverage at the derby match was excellent ... just someone enjoying the game and making sensible comments.

IPTV is the way to go.

I have a category called “Live Football” that updates itself every day with the corresponding fixtures for the day. So good. As well as every other Sky channel.

£7 a month.

Behind?  ??? ??? Unless you were watching the game sitting outside the stadium there was no way to tell it was behind, any notifications of goals would be a lot slower than the stream. The delay was mere seconds if that, which could even happen over live TV. I think people who had a longer delay either had internet problems or hadn't realised they paused it and it resumes behind and doesn't skip back to live.

Fantastic coverage. No lag, easy to pick games, great commentary and good options with the stats/highlights on the side. I pray to god they win more and more games and eventually Sky fuck off.
i have fibre and it was at least a minute behind for me

The amount of delay you have will vary from one person to another and will depend on many factors including luck, geography and your ISP. It is an inevitable result of how streaming works.

I was in a pub for the Man Utd game on Boxing day. It was on 2 TVs. 1 TV was over a minute behind live. The other was a full 10 minutes behind that  ;D

We moved to another pub for our game. No idea how up to date it was as I didn't check my phone but for half time and full time.

The only annoying thing is the delay - mine seemed to be approx. two mins behind, so i was finding out about the goals before seeing them.

Ours was at least a minute behind.

10 mins? No way the official Amazon stream was 10 behind the live game, def some dodgy setup there.

I was getting the goal alerts on my phone and then 2 minutes later the ball went in.

I like the concept but the delay was annoying. I had Sky Sports news on for the Man Utd game. I heard the pundit say Newcastle had scored and had enough time to walk across the room, pick up the remote to put amazon on, load the game to see Newcastle cross the half way line on the way to scoring.

If you're like me and have never paid for Sky or BT, you are well used to streams being well behind. If you're bothered by it, don't use alerts on your phone or watch live text commentary. And get used to it, because it isn't Amazon fucking up, that is just where the technology is at.

The stream may be a little behind depending on a few things. However with Amazon at least you can watch the game you want to watch rather than being dictated to due to what sky or bt want you to watch. Much prefer this set up and I hope Amazon get more and more games from now on.

I was hoping something like this would happen and hopefully they push for more games in future deals. Being able to watch games on any device for a fairly cheap subscription fee, all in high quality and with no need to buy any extra crap is great. I'd love it if a single streaming service just got all of the games and I could pay to watch every LFC match on one service instead of using dodgy streams, the whole TV subscription model has always been shit, people just deal with it because there isn't an alternative.

Exclusive rights is kind of shit too, why can't they just sell the TV rights to multiple companies and let the people choose how they want to watch?

Switch off goal alerts, twitter notifications, etc, on your phone and just watch the screen.

Streams are going to be behind in order for them to provide a decent picture. It is the downside of watching via a streaming service.

Here’s a description of how it works with American football. Seems like anyone with a 2 min delay may have slow connection or insufficient bandwidth from their ISP etc. They’ve got it down to 30s or even lower in the states.

Does anyone know if it works with a VPN,I don't live in the UK but I do have a Amazon UK account,as well as my German Prime account.
I have an AMAZON Prime account and I use NordVPN and each time I have went to watch a match on AMAZON it came on the screen saying I should turn the VPN off so I just turned it off.

People were complaining about this earlier in the season, yet I've never had any issues. I'm watching on a laptop in the living room as she has Little Fires on the telly, also Prime and no issues at all.

Really liked the managers interviewing each other

https://twitter.com/hltco/status/1582813337624014848?s=61&t=_2m4Ii2DkvxFGgD5cn-Flg

Yeah, it's great. Think the reliance on ex-players as pundits is way too extreme. Getting retired managers or really someone like Michael Edwards to give their views would really help I think.
