Well, the only Liverpool connected person I've seen about isn't that admirable.
I was at Anfield the day of the Toulouse away game last season, having a tour and such like with a few people who wanted to see the trophy's and all that jazz, and there was some offer for a picture with the European Cup. So we were walking up the stairs, and a mate was admiring the picture of Cisse dancing around the European Cup in Istanbul, and this short, stumpy grey haired bloke walks up the stairs, looks me straight in the eye and says "Hello, how are you?". Good manners that I thought, I told him I was ok and I was pleased to meet him. He moved on and walked into the museum. He seemed like quite an ordinary, genuine person and I walked off with a smile on my face quite made up that someone really famous had cared to ask how I was.
Doesn't seem so great now, looking back on my meeting with George Gillett
