Simply abysmal, for that united team, one of the worst you’ll see, to be allowed to leave Anfield with ANYTHING is criminal.

0-0. We should have won. Don't understand the handball rule. Thought it was a clear penalty. We should have found a goal even so. It was so one sided and we need to score when we have the ball in the attacking half all game. More to come from this team.

Well that was an absolute rubbish performance. I don't even remember the last time we played well.

We can just about sneak a win at West Ham but Arsenal are going to cut us to ribbons.
think Arsenal will be more open, United came with a bank of four and a bank of five and we couldn't break them down.  Trent's was out best chance but that aside it was a lot of huff but no puff.
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

If anyone wants to know how to come to Anfield and get a result: just put your entire team behind the ball.

It's been the same since 1990 really.

It's like we are trying to hand the title to Arsenal.  :butt

That is would be City. The title was never ours to hand to anyone.

Nothing really that surprising.

Been very average on the whole going forward for a good while but keep finding a way but that can't last forever. Shame it had to be in a scoreless game against these but when footballers don't understand how to play against low blocks there's not a lot you can do.

Are we allowed to pretty much catch the ball in the penalty area now and it’s not handball?

They'll never give that against them in the PL, not against us.

Oliver left it to VAR (like the ref in the derby) and VAR sat on their hands.

Rubbish football. What a let down.
These players were arrogant thinking they would win easily.
Salah, diaz predictable nunez doesn't know offside rule. Players afraid to play the risky pass.

Aimless balls into the box. Definitely a sign of lack of creativity.

Tons of time and space and we rarely stretched them.

Very poor in the final 3rd

that was poor and disappointing. Cross, shot, cross, shot, cross, shot - like manu under moyes.

I would take a Bobby firmino at 32 coming on for half an hour and try and instill some football in this lot.

They came to win 0-0, because that a win for them the way they are as a club right now.

Just horrible in the final 3rd, i would have started Gakpo, Nunez struggles in low block when he has no space to run into.

Trent shot, how did that not go in, sublime strike of the ball.

At least we know Arsenal wont play with a 7 line defence on there 18 yard line.

Did we break the world record for most blocked shots there?

A total lack of creativity or spark in their box.

'We just have to do our job, we don't have to worry whether other teams drop points or not,' was the frankly bizarre refrain in the PL Fixtures thread.

So what happens when we don't do our job like that shambles out there today?

Taking off Diaz was crazy

Like others, he didn’t gave a good match. Kept making it obvious that he was coming inside. Besides the formation wasn’t working so Klopp rightly tried to change things but that didn’t work.

He arm was barely out and it cannoned of his body, not sure that’s ever been handball.

Livid at that, that's fucking pathetic. They were awful. Anyone who claims our performance was down to anything they did is off their head, just 2 incredibly mediocre sides. West Ham and Arsenal would be licking their lips after that garbage.

Can we talk about the elephant in the room which is the lack of quality in that front three? Horrendous decision making really, just not clicking at all.

No clue what has happened there. I honestly thought they would be scoring for fun this season.

Hard to see us winning the league, when we're not ruthless at the right moments, the mentality doesn't seem as strong in the big games, we actually haven't had a good performance in any big game this season.

That’s been coming for weeks that result. Can’t keep playing shit and getting away with it. The subs were puzzling and the decision making felt lazy and a real lack of belief.

We need to sort ourselves out otherwise Arsenal will take advantage of it in the way other teams aren’t.

Yep. Judging the teams on todays performance, Arsenal look far more cohesive and fluent team than Liverpool. A worryingly flat performance from most involved today

We barely tested Onana all game. What an embarrassing attacking display that was. Good job Van Dijk was there at the back as he snuffed out a lot of their attacks that could have easily turned into goals.

Our defence is the one thing I’m not worried about.

Really? This shockingly poor United team cut us up at least twice with barely 3 passes forward. That was one of the worst performances of the Klopp era. That result is as bad as not beating Luton town, in fact it's probably worse. Onana having a clean sheet at Anfield? Pathetic.

How many times did a forward shoot from 18 yards out into a defender when there was a fullback running through to put in a quality cross? The decision-making around the box is brain-dead.
