Who are the most overrated footballers?

Personally I think Carrick is the most overrated footballer followed closely by Chiellini.

Also think Rooney's way overated. People talk of him as the god of english football, alot more strikers around who bang in plenty mroe than him.

even united fans i know don't rate carrick so i don't know how he can be overrated. chiellini is a strange choice aswell he is probably underrated in this country like a lot of italian players are.

To say Ferdinand is overrated is bullcrap. Yes, he is not as good as he was but I rate him higher than Vidic to be honest. Overrated though; Joe Hart, Cassano and Fabiano

Khedira for me. He got a lot of plaudits last summer for 'replacing Ballack' at the World Cup. Thing is, he only really replaced him on the team sheet. It was Ozil and Schweinsteiger who ran the show.
