Really don`t understand why they let De Gea go. Okay, he's not great with the ball at his feet, but he is a decent keeper nonetheless. If they have a limited budget it made no sense to me.
They are not finishing top 4 this season.
Yeah they've really, really spent poorly. Bayindir, Onana, Mount, Amrabat...
Sound like us in the early 2000's ... and yet Ged led us to trophies... this lot?
Out of that list, Mount's looking like the only decent signing, but he's not what they needed. Onana is good, but no chance he's a replacement for De Gea. Amrabat... and on loan at that. Bayindir is a backup option so that's even worse.
Can't even make signings anymore- people just don't want to go there anymore. Is it Joyce who said that they couldn't convince Gravenberg cause they were unclear, and that's why they missed out?
If that's te case, I wonder who else really turned them down this summer.
And why is the manager still the only one calling the shots on transfers over there? Erebody's started moving on from that like in 2010 already!
That is poverty! Where will the goals come from?
Who will make the saves?
With Casemiero being taken to the cleaners against Wolves and Spurs... is Amrabat any better?
They barely scraped top 4 last season and if the diff between us was one more game, they could've missed out, so this season looks grim.
If I was a United supporter, I'd be looking over at Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle.. even Chelsea - green with envy, and dreading this campaign!
Arsenal have never had it so good going into a match against these. It's gunna be an absolute slaughter!
Might even give them the boost they need to feel like competitors again this season... for another few games.
