Made an offer on an apartment on Thursday (late afternoon) and was given the application form to fill out whilst she spoke to the landlord. Spent a good 90 mins filling it all out this morning and sent it in only to then be told they had accepted another offer.

I mean why not just fucking tell me as soon as you accepted the other offer so I don't waste my fucking time?

Watched some of Harry Heroes last night, Fowler, Wright, Seaman, Le Tissier, etc playing a game v "the old enemy, ten german bombers". Most had put weight on as expected, that fatty Ruddock weighed in at 24st, fat fucker.

Every time I look at his grid, all I can think of is that pass the pound game and how he took the piss out of the club and the fans with his attitude.

The conversation between Seaman, Fowler and Merson on mental health was interesting and a bit sad - though Merson was funny at the end when he said he would rather not be fucking fishing. He seems to have relapsed again with gambling which is dreadful for him but Jesus, I am sure I have seen him in those Sky Bet adverts. There is something quite uncomfortable about that.

i dealt with a fella in hyundai once, i was going through a lot of shit at the time, he upset me that much i actually cried when i left. he could see i was under pressure and practically tried to bully me into making a decision. he only stopped short of laughing in my face, id still love to punch him in his big smug head. was under a lot of pressure due to money issues and a family bereavement and i didnt need that. people on their facebook page say hes great, i actually wrote "why do people think he is, he is an antagonising little shit"

My youngest has always had an issue with his temper, he can't handle his frustration and lashes out. One incident when he was about 14 months he lay face down on the floor pounding and screaming for a full 30 minutes.

So far he has :-

Thrown a Nexus Tablet at the fireplace and smashed it
Hit his brother over the back with the replacement and smashed it
Bit the replacement and smashed it
Broken a telly by hitting it with a controller, he smashed the replacement by throwing the controller.

He wasn't happy when I told him that all his damage has cost him personally - I pointed out that when he finally gets given his money that is in premium bonds and savings, he will be £1500 light due to his temper.

WOW. This wont have gone lightly for someone who does all that you have mentioned. How did he take it?!?

This is obviously a discipline issue. How do you discipline someone like that?!? He needs to understand that actions have consequences. And how do you make him understand that smashing a Nexus tablet (thrice) and telly (twice) is plainly wrong. Because it doesnt seem to me that grounding will help.

He also has shyness and confidence issues - he says he is a crap footballer, yet his coaches say he is technically in the top 5% at his club in his age group and he was good enough to go for training and a trial at the City academy last summer.

I was seeing a counsellor last night and she gave me details of a place that does children - I'm thinking about taking him to see if they can help him understand things better.

I had a lot of anger issues as a kid. I think a physical outlet is a good thing. Maybe not football, just something where you can physically work it out of your system, channel it into running or something. I hated running as a kid, too, so maybe wouldn't have worked, but anger kind of builds up to a point where you need to let it out, it does not just pop up out of nowhere. It's not something anyone does on purpose, so traditional methods of discipline probably won't be very effective, and could make it worse as it will just add resentment and you've got a vicious circle.

Counselling is definitely worth a try.
